Today the Assist arrived and I ordered a Yojimbo 2 from Knives Plus. I got a notice the PM2 has shipped and will be here next week.

ACK. Both in Texas so sales tax uses up almost all the savings. Got the Yojimbo 2 and probably have to stop for a while now.

Currently 20 new and 66 used listed around the world starting at $150 used and $336 new, going up into 4 figures by the most optimistic sellers. Wish I had a few copies on the shelf.

I probably would. I'd figure Spyderco doesn't want it wandering around loose for anyone to see any more than I want to see it and they'd be appreciative of me letting them make it right.

Well, I was going to suggest the Manix 2 since it has such a great blade shape. So, how about a Caly 3.5 or PM 2?

A Case medium Stockman and two SAK's my best half gave me for different Christmases. Plus a Buck Rescue in a sheath so technically not in my pocket. I'm going to get the Assist Salt to replace it and it will be in my pocket along with rotations of my Caly 3.5 and Manix 2 and PM2.

Ladybug / Manbug because the name will trigger some and provide cheap entertainment in addition to doing it's knifely duties.

Manix 2 or Manix 2 XL because it has such a great blade shape. Endura because it's arguably the one knife that's the most "Spyderco" of all Spyderco knives. Choice of Ladybug/Manbug if one wants a smaller option, Rescue Assist or Assist Salt if one wants a rescue knife option, Jumpmaster 2...

Probably an Assist Salt but Endura stainless and Manix 2 XL are both also on the suspects list.

Yes, I want to pretty much stay away from Amazon or ebay. I know a few of the names mentioned but there are some new ones to me as well. It's always fun to visit a new website and check out their differences. Thanks for the replies so far.

Who is your go to source for the best combination of price and customer service when buy knives? I'm thinking of adding an Assist Salt next and who knows after that.
