I agree with Zaberwolf, stick with <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> or BM. For a Boy Scout who does camping and outdoors I would say if you go Benchmade: Nimravus, Nimravus cub, River and Rescue, or the Outbounder for fixed blades. Folders: AFCK, AFCK II, TSEK, Ares ...
