Voted for an FRN siren and lil native as those would be immediate buys for me.

I'd add the option for combo edge, I think the salts are the perfect application for it and as far as I know there's never been one.

I've made it a habit to cover the clip on my pocket with my right hand as I get out of any car for this exact reason. Took a few weeks to ingrain it but it protects my wheel and my clip without thinking about it now.

Green Salt 2, been looking forward to this one as a smaller LC200. Interested to try my first wharnciffe too

Mine does this as well, not as much as some here but it does lift without much pressure. Frustrating with how much I like the design of this knife

I find the the endela (3.5in) to be the perfect edc size. I don’t have one yet mainly because I’m hoping for a salt version, FFG LC200 in green would be even better!

I would definitely go with a Salt 1 personally. Its just about perfect size and shape for an EDC blade whereas I think the other two are more specialized. Not that they aren't excellent knives, just not as good all rounders. The Salt 1 can do it all beautifully! Mine never leaves my side :)

How about the Salt 1? A bit less expensive than the Pac Salt and I prefer the size. I have both that and a Dragonfly so I can definitely say it feels larger and quite nice in the hand and has a much more secure pocket clip as well (harder to lose ;) )

While SE H1 is amazing from what I've heard ...

I for one like the flipper! The spydie hole is still there and completely usable so the flipper can just as easily be ignored if you don't like it. Its a part of what makes his knife designs what they are and I for one would love the opportunity to own one at spyderco production prices :)

As for knives, realistic choices would be the FRN UKPK, regular C41 Native, and perhaps the new FRP Manix 2 Lightweight. Next tier up would be the Manix 2 or Para, but it's a fair size jump in price.

For what its worth, I'll echo everyone else here and say that its more about how your present yourself than the fact that you have a knife on you. I'm 19 right now and I've carried a blade every day since I was 10 and never had a single problem. Now I just feel naked without one!
