Free Spyderco PR

I'm not sure if this is the right place, please correct me/it if it's not. While I've had to not buy as many Spyderco's lately due to a new house, I still keep my eye out for them. Found a reference to the bug on this site and figured someone at Spyderco might be interested. http://coolmaterial.com/...

Snow, I think you may be having buyers remorse, because as you yourself stated, you didn't research it enough and paid too much. If you prefer the reverse tanto, then you obviously shouldn't have purchased the para2 because it's a slicer with it's FFG, not a pry bar. Good news bad news time Good new...

Snow, It sounds like you don't truely understand the value of the materials put into making a knife. If you'd like a nice, slick-aluminum handle, in D2 or S30V , for a minimum price of $150 , then that's your opinion. You may be like me, and prefer a nice, grippy G-10 handle, in S30V , for a minimum...

I wasn't talking about guns..... There are those out there that are trained to kill with a blade and they are good enough the person that is attacked will never know they were there or what they did until it's way too late. The person that was attacked will never have a chance to react because the ...

Not sure you really understand what I was getting at with my post. I think we get it; if Mark Walberg wants to shoot me from a mile away, I'll never be able to defend it. But, generally speaking, most attacks aren't premeditated to the point that a trained killer is trying to assassinate you...it's...

Jason
I'd PM you if I had one.

PS, threads like this are not allowed. Might want to check some of the other knife forums.

Hey all, ffbeerd here. I enjoy the forum because of the general maturity displayed here. There's a wealth of knowledge available on many knife forums, but here you have both the knowledge and respect that makes it enjoyable to keep coming back to. I may not have a ton of posts, but I've been on the ...

Actually, this is used quite a bit differently than a karambit. For one thing, a karambit blade, if held in standard fighting "reverse" grip, would be projecting from the bottom, rather than top, of my fist. The techniques utilized here are small/tight motions, and are more akin to "...

I'd definitely buy one (or two). The Emerson Combat Karambit's are constantly sold out and fetch a hefty price. I've tried to like/use Spyderco's, but I feel the design is lacking (IMHO): -Needs better texture i.e. G10 -Doesn't need to be as thin and wide. I'd prefer a more balanced approach. -A mor...

Thanks for posting the video, very interesting!

From my (limited) perspective, it looks like you are using it like one would a karambit. If so, do you feel the lack of a ring on the Balance would prevent you from having the leverage necessary to perform strong cuts?

Congrats. Mine is fairly dull. :( It cannot cut a paper. Also, screws are not recessed, which is surprising. Still my Forager will serve well to my intention of use: to be a safe (actually display) queen. I love this micarta and you cannot beat the price. Mine feels that way too, but I can't tell i...
