That's wishful thinking, but there is nothing in the works.

Re: Is the Endura still well loved in 2023?

The Endura is my favorite larger knife. I have two, and will likely get another one at some point. I like the Military and want to check out the new Millie 2, but the Endura is very pocketable for such a large knife and it is very capable. What about the vertical blade play people are complaining ?

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Carrying this old friend today. https://i.imgur.com/yofokda.jpeg I have this one in S60V. Rare find, in a knife shop in Paris, France. I couldn’t believe my eyes. No box and at a premium price but when the seller told me that it’s available I jumped over it like a hawk. It’s one of my most treasure...

Re: Police 4 K390 SE Testing Log

I do not believe you purchased a SE K390 Endura....unless I see some pics. Joke aside, I would like to see how long the plain edge is near the tip. It seems quite small and that is kinda meh for me. My serrated VG10 Endela has quite a long plain edge portion near the tip and I like that, not to men...

Re: Police 4 K390 SE Testing Log

Yes, it does deserve a bump! Should have done this myself when I linked this very thread recently here https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=95747#p1751776 (also quite some info about sharpening serrated K390). I am close to getting a K390 Endura SE myself now... seems like especially ...

Re: What makes a steel 'aggressive'?

Is that question what aggression is, or how aggression is achieved? I'm no expert, but aggression in an edge to me means the edge has a kind of "sticky" and biting feeling when pressed to the skin , where it seems to grab at the epidermis with barely any pressure at all. Sometimes if you ...

Re: Is the Endura still well loved in 2023?

I can’t believe you started this thread. You beat me to it. I was about to ask people on the forum to sell me the Endura. Never owned a ffg Endura, only a foliage green saber ground combo edge one. For some misterious reason the ffg Endura started to grow on me exactly when I revisited my old saber ...

I'd want a serrated, salt fixed blade. Probably the Jumpmaster 2.
Smart. I forgot about this one. I keep one in my bugout bag. It’s a beast. Those serrations are scary.

Not my home mountains, but a seven hours flight farther south. Enjoying climbing and hiking in shorts and T shirt one more time before back home ski touring season will start (at least I hope so and for snow). Salt 2 on easy duty, just a bit bread and cheese cutting on a hike plus removing a cactus...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Plain or serrated ? i should've specified. it's the kj 20cv exclusive. it only comes in pe. Unfortunately I can’t purchase one of these since they don’t dispatch abroad 😒 that's a shame. if you are interested in a wharncliffe delica, i would get any of the production versions you can find before th...

Re: What makes a knife good?

First and foremost how it cuts. I hate thick behind the edge blades. Second close is the blade and edge shape. I prefer modified wharnies like the Watu, pure wharnies and reverse tantos with a slight belly like the Smock or the Yojimbo. The way the blade is ground is also important, my ideal grind w...

Re: SE Sharpening Help

Tilting the blade should work but you need to find the proper angle, so I would use is a sharpie if I were you. The problem is, you need to have a steady hand in the process so once you find the proper angle it would be wiser to shim the base of the SM according to Yablanowitz advice.
