I'm just hear to show my support for a Stretch 3 with a flipper and Ti Framelock... :o

There is a fake Civilian that you can buy but the fit and finish doesnt look like they tried very hard even the handle shape up near where it meets the blade seems off to me.

That story makes me wanna remember to carry (or put in a carry on bag) enough black duct tape to help stash/secure a knife somewhere good in an airport just in case. Perhaps in a stationary trashcan that just the bag get's replaced.. Or the planter idea was pretty good.

Resilience or Manix XL (for twice the price) all the way. Both have those strong *** steel liners and a nice big flat ground blade to get whatever job done. Military if lightweight is a serious factor.

The tenacious is actually made in China. So it may just be sneaking out the back door and cutting Spyderco out on their share... Or they might be some kinda unmarked blemished factory reject type thing just speculation. Probably totally fake like all the rest though those others using american steel ...

I didn't see an address, but if that's true then that's a great point. Probably not stocking and floating 10's of thousands of dollars in inventory out of your garage. Especially not without a well known well established web presence to back it up.

Another silly question. Is it odd and suspect for a hard to find knifes stock level to increase by one in the last couple days.

Im not sure how I got on their email list, but Ive been getting updates about their products for a little while. Wouldnt mind trying them out especially with the materials they use... But god knows I don't get out in the woods enough to need another fixed blade.

Aww that makes me sad. I want more real Ti military's in the world not fakes. That being said the "U.S.A.Earth" instead of "U.S.A. Earth" Jumps out at me as well as the SS lockbar insert screws seem to really protrude inside the handle.

I love the design and materials, but seeing one next to a sage is the only reason I don't own one yet. It looks mighty small, like dragonfly length just wider.. I really wanna handle one but the pics I saw make me long for a Techno XL to wrap my catchers gloves around.

I always think of a burr and sort of way to check your work (should probably clarify and say a burr you can see or feel). But its not the only way by any means.
