I have the same problem with my Green FRN ZDP-189 Stretch 2. The FRN around the pivot rubs the base of the blade and no amount of lube or adjusting the pivot would solve the problem. To combat this problem I took the knife apart and sanded the FRN. It helped somewhat but not enough to where I could ...

I have the Native 5 Moonglow as well; my very first native. The feel in hand was surprisingly natural and comfortable. At first I was put off by its looks, I wasn't too excited about the knife in general, but I am a sucker for glow in the dark. I like it so much I am thinking about buying a second a...

First: Delica 4 blue FFG. The wife convinced me to give the knife to her so I could replace it with anything I wanted which lead to a Endura 4 gray FFG. Latest: Manix 2 Lightweight translucent blue. Without a doubt one of my favorite knives. Would like to see it in ZDP-189 or VG-10. Biggest surprise...

Woohoo KC lists my dodo order status as in stock. Which means it should ship soon.

I bet their entire dodo allotment will go to filling Pre orders.

I placed my pre-order with KC the day after it was posted. To check up on the order I called KC a moment ago and they said batch 1 already shipped out, which means I am not as far up the list as I originally thought. Then he said, "we plan to fill every Spyderco Dodo order." That was a goo...

I received the same email when I placed my Dodo pre-order at KC, still I highly doubt it will ship in that time frame. KC has dome well for me when it comes to the pre-orders but then again I place my order as soon it is listed.

Nice moose North!! How wide were the antlers, how many brow tines? I bet is going to be a tasty bull.

I wanted to test my Pacific Salt on a moose this year but accidentally dropped it in a tundra bog on the way to my buddies moose. I think the Persian would make a fine critter skinner.

Honestly I can't remember what I paid, but I do know I didn't even blink an eye at the price and want to say it was the standard $57 or so that KC charges for a typical Delica. Anyone remember the exact price? Edit: I double checked my invoice and I paid $57.95. I wouldn't consider that price all th...

A couple weeks back I bought a pink flat ground Delica for my daughter from KC. She is totally excited about it and kind of bummed at the same since she will have to wait a few years before she's old enough to carry and use it. You should have seen her eyes when I took it out of the packaging, her e...

I was really hoping the SS balance would be in the $50-60 dollar range. I know, I know, profit needs to be made, margins are set at a fixed rate..... I'm going to pass and wait for the Des Horn instead, maybe pick up a SS balance if it ever goes on clearance.

I prefer the tool marks as well. It gives it a hand made look

After I drill out the bowl I'll cover it with a clear varnish and either give it to my daughter to toss it on a shelf somewhere.
