Welcome to the forums man! You're wallet is definitely in for a ride. Spyderco is only the beginning soon you'll start noticing other knife brands, then some CRK's and striders, then you'll want to try a custom out. At least that's how it happened to me.

I have a manix 2 in CF which I just recently got and a manix 2 in cts-xhp so I cant really comment on the blue but the only noticeable differences in the two that I have are the weight and blade steel.
