Re: 2021 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

Forum Name: jackthedog Model: Spyderco Chaparral Carbon Fiber/G10 C152CFP Despite it not being the biggest Spyderco I have, it is the most used Spyderco knife I have. It's perfect size for just about any task and the older S30V blade makes short work of just about anything. From cardboard boxes to s...

Re: 2018 Forum Calendar Contest!

Gayle Bradley Air - C159GF The Air is one of my favorite Spyderco knives. The light and clipless design makes it easy to drop in your pocket during the hot summer months and it easily fits in at a backyard barbeque. I was sad to see it be discontinued but I'm glad I got one while I could. http://i12...

Re: What is the best Sage model?

I have owned the 1-3 and personally find the 2 to be my favorite. The 3 and the new 5 would be my next choices.

I think it probably comes down to personal preference more than anything.

Good call. It's a great little knife.

Model: C81GP2 Paramilitary 2 Forum Name: jackthedog I just bought my first house and while doing some painting prior to moving in, my Paramilitary 2 came in very handy. I'm guessing browser issue. For the longest time their site wouldn't load on my Android-based phone in Chrome. Always had to make it load the desktop version.

Re: I only have a few knives, but I'm happy. Am I crazy?

I'll add another positive for the Chaparral.

I've reached a point where I'm happy with my collection and will probably start to thin it down.

Though I could still go for a Positron or a Slysz Bowie.

Re: The future of the Gayle Bradley Air

I'm in the minority here and think the knife is better without the clip. I would have taken it off if it had come with one. I have no concerns about the detent and accidental opening.

It'll be interesting to see if/how they bring this back.

I saw one at the SFO yesterday. It's a great looking knife. Probably should have walked out with one.

The Urban is a great "little big knife" and one of my favorite Spydercos. I thought this picture captured the Urban in its natural habitat.

The GB2, Ion, and Nirvana are on my list for sure, though I'm a bit nervous about the prices on the latter two.

This was going to be my suggestion for a free option. It's pretty good but BF has considerably more traffic.

Seems as a good a place as any for this question: Is the S110V Manix a sprint? I didn't see it on the list and stupidly didn't buy one a few months ago.
