Re: Got a counterfeit Dragonfly Salt 2 for my birthday.

Sorry to hear about that mate. I usually deem shipped and sold by amazon to be the gold standard for buying on there as well. =/ is nothing sacred anymore!
Laethageal that thread is a bit scary to look at =x

Thanks for the heads up Sal, the time to save is now! Time to feed the pig again. I have found it prudent for me to set aside a separate piggy bank over the years just in case an awesome spydie drops lol

Have you used their C/S a lot before? I have kind of gotten used to it. I seem to have a propensity to get "bad" ones , and have had to use warranty quite a few times. And every single time, it takes 4.5 weeks [on the quick side] - 5-6 weeks [on the longer side]. And have never gotten an e...

That grind sounds interesting evil, keep us updated :p I am excited for these, but definitely at half the rocket boost I was for the para 2 [simply being my fav of all time as much with you all]. And knowing theres another cf para 2 in the future , if these 3 [yo/man/para] crash land around the same...

Hrm... I would say its somewhat important, but in that list, one of the last things I care about. I do care that it : - looks nice - aesthetics a big piece. Does it contrast too much with the piece? [eg black everything, but white clip? -exaggeration] - How it feels in hand. Will it be a hindrance t...

Thanks Kristi. They ARE worth the wait. Probably the best knife Spyderco has ever made, and easy to see why such high demand. Much agreed :p My favorite as well. One of the few knives I have kept [from times when I "thin the herd"], as well as have more than 1 of. All other knives I could...

Well first and foremost, welcome. Secondly, I think a lot of questions can be self answered if you read / do a search. In this case, even just two posts above you, and multiple prior, stated it as a native. Enjoy your stay!

Well Brad Southard was one of my top fav custom makers, so why not another, with Todd Rexford :p [I know he has a boker collab, not sure if they are able to work with others?]. I know the thought of a Kbit had been floating around, back and forth [albeit it may not be the best given it is a niche ma...

I'm for keeping the pivots employed on the para2 system. There are times that I do like having "controlled" opening knives, but majority of the time, I prefer a more effortless opening [not flicking] I do hope its kept. Variety is the spice of life!

It should also be noted, that amazon can be its own store, as well as a hub for other stores. You may already know this, but always good as a minder, the ones that directly say amazon llc under the sale by [under price] is sold by amazon. If there is a different store name there, it could mean a few...
