Nice. I've got an Arsenal SGL 31 which is just a factory saiga conversion. It's a great gun and 5.45x39 surplus is very cheap.

I agree with this. The stainless steel handles are also "fancier" looking than FRN and girls seem to like that.

DLC'd Manix 2 clip question

Is the clip on the DLC'ed Manix 2 just painted like the Delica/Endura clip or is it the more wear resistant finish like on the Military? Thanks

Put in a preorder for the S90v para. It'll be my Christmas present to myself I guess

How much harder is s90v to sharpen than s30v?

Any experience on how well the DLC holds up, or is it a rather new coating?

DLC is pretty tough. I've had a DLC'd military for about 6 months and it has some scratches because it was cutting through rocky soil (don't ask :p ). Everything else I've done to it doesn't hurt it at all.

It won't ...

I thought those were a limited run of 800 pieces of each color or something?

I'm surprised to see the G10 ukpk going away. I wonder what that means for the CF and Titanium UKPKs that are supposed to be coming out?

I'd like to see a FFG blade standard but I vote no on making the blades thicker.

Sorry 'bout that. We're between production runs. I guess we didn't make enough on the first run. Might be a month or so.

I haven't cut myself too badly with my knives. I have a couple of scars on my fingers but nothing major. The worst was probably when I was spydie dropping my Military and managed to drag my middle finger across the blade somehow

However, in 7th grade, I was in woodshop class. I was ...

Today my Military:

-Cut up a cardboard box into smaller pieces so it'd fit in the recycling bin.

-Opened up a few bags of garden soil.

-Cut some plastic sprinkler adapters to size.

-Cut a plastic 10 gallon flower pot in half (the plant needed to go into the hole in the pot, then have the pot cut ...

Thank you very much Sal. I think I'm going to stick with the low carry clip, I don't seem to be having any issues with getting enough finger on it to pull it from the pocket. :)

Hi Schneider,

The model was designed to use the clip as in the top pic. That way a small amount of the handle proturdes from the pocket so you can grasp the butt of the handle with your thumb on the inside and other fingers on the clip side for deploying. (The knife is carried blade forward in the ...

Did the pocket clip on the P'kal get changed?

Just got a P'kal :spyder: Every picture I had seen had a clip like this one:

Mine has a looped clip like on this Caly 3

There's no blade length limit in my state. None of the towns/counties that I frequent have blade length laws, either. The only places where I have to be concerned are

1. My college, which has a limit of 5".
2. A couple of cities I go to infrequently which have length limits of 3" I believe.

I don ...
