I didn't get any photos of this trip, but here's an awesome video produced by Ben from BladeHQ.com of an outing he and I had to beat on a Paramilitary 2 out in the snow and woods. Check it out:

Cara Cara 2 with Colors?
Just a few wishful mock-ups.
Photoshop can do wonders, but Sal can do real magic! What do you think? Will we ever see a run of Cara Cara 2's with colored G10?
ps - I'd settle for colored FRN with that cool new bi-directional texture.

Choke-up choil
Sure, it adds traction, but is that traction actually needed? After all, if you're using the choil, chances are that you're choking up on the blade to get more precise cuts. In my mind, none of these precise cuts should require a lot of force nor the traction that the choil jimping provide.

Just discovered that after I made the post. Whoops! :ogbelleh wrote:Both of these are listed in the 2010 supplement catalog on the Spyderco website. They have been discussed on this forum too. I'm looking forward to picking up the Meadowlark when it becomes available.
Still really looking forward to them.

New Byrd Knives. More info anyone?
I discovered some new, unreleased Byrd knives on KnifeCenter.com the other day. Availability is stated as "This is a delayed new product--pre-order only at this time." with no indication of when they'll be released. I haven't found any mention of them on Spyderco's site, nor any other online stores ...
