Cara Cara 2 with Colors?

Just a few wishful mock-ups.

Photoshop can do wonders, but Sal can do real magic! What do you think? Will we ever see a run of Cara Cara 2's with colored G10?

ps - I'd settle for colored FRN with that cool new bi-directional texture.

Choke-up choil

Sure, it adds traction, but is that traction actually needed? After all, if you're using the choil, chances are that you're choking up on the blade to get more precise cuts. In my mind, none of these precise cuts should require a lot of force nor the traction that the choil jimping provide.

I discovered some new, unreleased Byrd knives on KnifeCenter.com the other day. Availability is stated as "This is a delayed new product--pre-order only at this time." with no indication of when they'll be released. I haven't found any mention of them on Spyderco's site, nor any other online stores ...
