Re: Flat Earthers: Growing In Numbers

Well I guess show me the ice wall then lol. How is it that in all of history we've never heard of an account of this ice wall? I guess the gub'ment altered history to pull the wool over our eyes. How do they get every space program in the world to all go along with this lie? Is it some New World Ord...

Re: Flat Earthers: Growing In Numbers

And yet no independent believers have tried to break this rule, despite the fact that untold number of people have circumnavigated the globe. I guess they were forced to not fly to the edge? What exactly is there to gain from lying about this anyway? What would the government be gaining by convincin...

Re: FFG LC200N Aqua Salt Poll

I'd maybe buy both edge types, I think my wife would like this one for kitchen use in PE. I agonized between the Aqua Salt and Jumpmaster 2 and I'm still not sure if I'm happy with what I chose so the only logical next step is finding a good excuse to buy an Aqua Salt and this would do it.

Re: Talk me out of UKPK Salt SE

This thread made me think a lot about the salty UKPK - and brought me to the point whether the S110V could be the better option for me as it is plenty stainless while having a much better edge retention. Hmmm BUT, also lacks a serrated option and is considerably more tedious to sharpen. Pros and co...

Really, I know it's not practical, but I like anything Salty.

Somewhere there's an alternate timeline where every knife model also has a SE Salt variant. I just need to get my hands on that Time Stone...

Re: Show off your 3d Printed Spyderco Mods/Creations!

Some time ago I got into the habit of holding my thumb on the top of my Sharpmaker rods while reprofiling to hold them steady. With diamond and CBN rods this starts to get a little uncomfortable after a while. I also have a bad habit when I don't have my thumb there or sometimes coming straight down...

Re: What's missing from the Salt line

Really hoping for translucent FRCP when the LC200n Manix2 LW finally happens. https://i.imgur.com/0OsmtFB.png This seems like such a brilliant idea I really think there must be a reason it hasn't happened yet. There must be a reason they don't think the platform will work as a Salt model, otherwise...

If you HAD to choose...

What would be the next knife to LEAVE your collection? Selling, gifting, trading, throwing away, whatever...which one is the next to go?

Probably one of my sprints, as crazy as that may sound to some. If I'm gonna let something go it may as well be worth it.

Re: Button comp.lock Sage?!

I don't really think it's much of an improvement but I wouldn't say no to one either The biggest advantage in my opinion is getting rid of the lock cutout on the spine of the handle. This makes it less likely to create a hot spot during hard use. While the lock may not be exactly the same, I can re...

Re: Button comp.lock Sage?!

I may be overlooking something, but the Plunge Lock surely has something in common with the button compression lock, and the Autonomy doesn't have a giant scoop taken out of the blade to accomodate the button, so I don't think it's a requirement. The scoop is there but it's hidden inside the handle....

Re: Which knife later grew on you?

Biggest for me has to be the Military. I didn't like it, didn't understand it, didn't like how big it was overall and especially how giant the handle was, didn't like the liner lock and didn't like tip down only carry. Then one day at work when I worked retail, a guy was busted for shoplifting and h...

Re: An Endura/Byrd style Tanto tip release?

Seems like the blade shape of the Delica and Endura would work really well with tanto shapes since they already have a shallow belly anyway and we know the handles can accommodate a wharnie blade shape too. Seems like money in the bank. Actually I'm thinking about that backwards, a tanto moved the ...

Re: So I got a Smock

I think you may be right if it was a pivot issue I would assume the resistance would be through the whole process to open . I may just need more time than usual to break it in . My Amalgam opens perfectly. These are my only flippers from Spyderco. Only have a couple more from other brands to compar...

Seems like I looked into this once before but never got one. Gonna check it out for sure. If I can get Bic dependability in a Zippo case that would rock.
