The most abused Spydie I had was a Byrd Crossbill PS with stainless handles in 8Cr13MoV. I got it for dirt cheap and never really liked the look of it. Anyway I got roped into helping put up a new break room at work. At first I didn't intentionally abuse it but then I decided to see if I could kill ...

The old Enduras are my favorites. I don't understand why the profile has changed to the rounder tips. Was there a problem with heat treating or were people using them as pry bars and breaking the tips? Right tool for the right job and all that. I like AUS 8 just as well as VG 10. You all have some r...

Thanks for the replies gents. It's nice to be around like minded folks. Jay Ev, that is quite the collection your dancing banana has for sure! Rudeco, I love this little blade so far. I can't believe I didn't pick one up sooner. I bet you'll enjoy yours too. I was eyeballing the Emerson waved Endura...

I got my first PE Native in today. The born on date was July 2010 (GJ). While I think all Spydercos are a great value for what you get, it really applies to the Native. 56$ delivered for a Golden, CO S30V blade. Right out of the box it's tight (absolutely no blade play) yet the smoothest opening FRN...

I wonder if you could get the pivot and handle torx screws for the new Matriarch. Grind out the old pins and have a screw construction Pacific Salt. I'd like to do it to my E3 and D3 knives. Also you could get the replacement screws from the Endura or Delica 4 rebuild kit. They'd have to be shortene...

Golden, CO
Hello all. For my first post I thought you might like a picture. I helped a buddy move from El Paso to Denver. My first thought was how close is Golden? Not far at all. It's a nice little town. http://i45.tinypic.com/20ksjcy.jpg As you can see I made a small purchase. Sorry the flash washed out the ...
