Re: Sal - What's next for the Military?

I find that the original sized Military is now my favorite knife ... black blade of course. I gave my father one when his hands struggled with other knives. That knife turned out to be his last pocket knife before he passed. Thanks Sal for big blades they do the work...VI

A Gentleman's Knife

Having done blue suit social work for a while you learn what works and does not work when it comes to cutlery. I have used Spyderco Police and Edura models for over 29 years. I bought a Rescue 93mm that I use as my primary wreck knife at this time coupled with my Endura for cutting Snickers candy ba...

Re: 6 month's with a Millie

Thanks to all who replied. I have used the Police model and the tip down is the deal breaker for me. As for the Ayoob I remember it being produced and I handled one but it did not come close to what I looked for. Which is a 5 inch blade others have made this but they don't have the hole. I am curren...

6 month's with a Millie

For the past 6 months I have carried a full size Military. Prior to this I carried a Endura 1 till I broke the molded clip and then replaced it with a Endura with the metal clip. I tried to love the Tantanka for the blade length but, for me too thick. This is my last time to beg for production of th...

Blade Show What you see and what You GET...

Having attended the Blade Show many times it is GREAT to handle all of the prototype Spyderco Knives in the flesh. Several I fell hard for and could not wait to buy and use but, my favorites did not make it to production. So with that said how does the head shed choose what goes to production and wh...

Re: Carrying multiple Spydercos?

I use a Dragonfly for most work it's small size doesn't draw much attention. I also have on my person a Military at all timesfor bigger task.
On interesting days a Street Bowie fits any need worn under a shirt .

Been waiting for this BIG Blade I like the size for many different reasons. I wished for the WHATSITBIG to be issued but, this will fit the want list. When this hits the street I can put up a 5 inch Voyager I have used.

As an average Joe cop here I have been lucky to carry Enduras since I believe 1990. So that makes me an eggspurt on tacticool, just joking. Hard use knives are what the user believes it to be based on what the kool kids carry. I have met and talked with military, swat and just the beat cops about kn...

How to fix???

I wanted to change the position for the belt loop on my Perrin Street Bowie and that is how the fun started!!! I used the correct screw driver bit a # 10 torx but, the screws would not tighten. so the required call to warrenty. Great folks sent two more replacement screws and guess what these will n...

What You have seen but, has not been made:(

What prototype have you touched at the Blade Show that did not make production? For me it was the " Whatsitbig" and the "Jumpmaster
with a different blade profile. Sal, could you bring both back to the show for admiring?

Best Cut

What is your best cut with a Spyderco? For me I was not using the proper cutting method slipped and hit the nuckle of my left index finger. Yep plenty of butterfly bandages and anti biotic cream for the next 7 days. With that said chicks dig scars what's yours?
