Get some leather or cord and make your own, that's what I do :) As others have mentioned the Superleaf is a nice knife and the Junior (a little smaller) as well.

Okay, let's avoid the politics (Where I live, guns are flat-out banned, and knife laws aren't the kindest, so y'all count your blessings, if you consider them such ;) ) To sum up my thoughts on this: -Day to day, I can certainly function without a locking knife and have done so. The same would go fo...

If the above was serious-country of origin. Don't think the guys making the Dfly in Japan like, or have experience treating and using, S90V.

ZDP would be a better "high-end" steel :)

G10 Dragonfly just arrived!

It's awesome... :) *tears of joy* Okay, to pull myself together for a little review: Very comfortable and secure grip for such a small knife, and it sits very nicely in the hand. The G10 and steel liners give it a bit of heft as well. The blade is angled very cleverly so that it's very comfortable t...

Just attended a very interesting lecture on this very topic. It seems ideal for prototypes, one-offs. Anything where you probably will not be producing the same thing many times. You can get incredibly precise and intricate structures with the printer as well. It handles nylon best, and I think it w...

It's not age; it's maturity. And to a large degree, appearance. Is it OK? Certainly it is. If your concern is legality, make absolutely sure that you are right in the eyes of the law. This is something that cannot be compromised upon. With regard to the perceptions of other folk, it is often the cas...

The long bolster and wood handle look to me like they would fit the Chaparral well.

As for steel anything is fine :) But a special steel would be nice.
