Leftie techno owners can we get some more feedback on ease of opening? I know the guy Above says it's difficult but I can open my ppt with no problems and it appears to have the same amount of hole showing. I want to buy this guy so bad!

I'm inclined to think this is a question of either a misunderstanding at Spyderco's end of what was being requested, a very poorly worded request, or one made to the wrong party (SFO instead of W&R, for example). Nope unfortunately thats not the case. They don't like giving out parts like that ...

By "big deal" - Do you mean they won't send you washers or won't fix the knife under warranty? the person i talked to said they can't send me the washers because "its not something they normally do" basically what they said they'd do is charge me $20 to put the new washer on the...

Actually I just took the blade out :) which is a breeze to do. Thanks for the advice guys that's what I was planning on doing. I just can't believe it came from the factory like that! This is the first qc issue I've had so hopefully it will be handled quickly

Hey guys I bought the sprint run military with cts-xhp steel and brown g10 when it came out. I took it out of the box acouple times to check it Out and it was extremely stiff out of the box. So today I got it out to diagnose the problem and turns out one of the washers was bent in around the middle ...

My cf stretch is the exact same. I sent it to warranty & they said there was nothing they could do. Great knife but they got alittle sloppy. Mine also had black crud clogging the lanyard hole that would NOT come out.

No it has solid liners. It actually helps the balance a bit because that big blade is so heavy. Feels awesome in the hand though.
