Hi Sal, Nice teaser for the Labor Day holiday weekend! Can I ask whether you have any intention to release a S110V Mule? As for your other plans with this steel, you could pretty much make a S110V fork and spoon at this point, and it would sell out in a day or two. You have really brought us to new...

I can't believe this had to be posted about angry people. Be happy these are even being offered. Shame on anyone that directed anger at Kristi or anyone else at the SFO over this. They are good folks and can't help it if the system got overloaded due to heavy traffic. I felt bad calling to take up ...

Delica Sabre Grind ZDP-189 CE - I got this one in a trade and came with a rounded tip and half the serrations worn down. I have 2 other Delica ZDP's, both FFG, so this one gets the most abuse. If someone wants to borrow a knife, this is my designated loaner. Tasman Salt PE - I picked up this one as...

IMO the Native III had a much better handle and clip than its successor. I think the Native III style FRN handle and clip with the Native 5 FFG blade would be an interesting and practical knife in the same way the Manix 2 FRN lightweight is.

Poliwog, Dodo & PM2. The Meercat was fascinating at first, but being a lefty I ended up not playing with it that much.

Congrats on the excellent choices you made on your first 3 Spydies. The PM2 is a hot item and often out of stock at dealers shortly after they get them in. I've bought 3 hard to find Sprint/LE PM2's in recent months at excellent prices by looking wide and often, so keep after it. I would guess the N...

Once I get a patina to my liking I wipe the blade with Marine Tuf-Cloth. I have one SB Caly 3.5 that I wiped with a Tuf-Cloth from the beginning that has never developed a patina. I've also polished off existing patina and started over again. kbuzbee - I'm curious about the wire clip you added to yo...

Moroland, I would suggest you look at the Urban slipit which is much closer in size and profile to the DF than the UKPK is. I see some pop up in the secondary market but there is at least one retailer I know of that has some stock.

I would doubt such a beautiful presentation piece like this will ever be carried or used to cut anything but, who knows, maybe he will use it to cut the federal budget.

I have quite few Spyderco fixed blades but not the Street Beat. I like the looks of it and will probably end up getting one, but I think the name has been a bit of a turn-off to me. Why "Street Beat"? It sounds like a name better suited for headphones marketed to the urban hip-hop market.

Once while kayaking I fended off a very aggressive dragonfly by waving around my Ladybug H1 SE Hawkbill. It was touch and go there for awhile but the wielded steel prevailed. Just to play it safe I will will take my Dragonfly H1 next time out.

Nice reference page, The Deacon. I always wondered in the case of the Dyad seconds if they put the notch on both blades or just one and now I know although one certainly can't rule out a blade swap (or two) given the seller.

I picked up 2 NIB carbon fiber Cat's on ebay a month ago cheap. There weren't 2nd's and were perfect other than a tiny scratch near the spine of one of the blades so that one is a user now and the other a safe queen. I got lucky as I had not seen any CF first run Cats for less than perhaps twice the...

There is no wrong answer here as all are very good choices. The Stretch is a larger knife than the Delica and Native, so that might be a consideration since you are looking for a smaller, mid range folder. Out of the Delica and Native my personal favorite is the Delica. I don't dislike the Native Li...

I would go for the Delica 4 or Dragonfly in ZDP-189 if you can increase your budget a little and VG-10 otherwise. Keep in mind that not everyone considers a back lock a con, particularly a well designed and executed lock one like these have.
