I hope the knife gives you many years of service. I have wanted one since I first saw the picture and read the specs. No joy my bank account says though. Enjoy it for me and the others who would love to have one. :) Joe I'm definitely happy with the Techno....definitely worth the money, IMO. Althou...

I laughed when I read this thread. Here is my recap. Someone with the name "Large Marge" who had at most 4 posts when the thread was created and joined the forum this month is asking why there are so many trolls. Every bit of it sounds troll-ish. Wasn't "Large Marge" a troll cha...

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I'm pretty sure this guy tried to sell me something similar . On ebay, he convinced me he was a Spyderco worker and had a cool sprint run to sell me. It turned out to be a crappy gerber knife and a picture of a spyderco endura. I can vouch not to trust this guy. G...

Like I said in reply #1, I had a knife away for warranty. I got it back yesterday. I wrote a semi-long letter describing my problem, got no phone call or anything. It took a few weeks to get back, but it's back and they did a good job. They hand wrote a note at the top, "Sorry for the delay.&q...

KBR, though I chose to approach things differently that does not in any way mean I don't respect you or your way of getting business done.Nor do I feel it's my business to pass judgement. I apologize for the way I came across on this forum. We all can agree that people need to be happy with their i...

The only thing I can add is sometimes it is simply better to keep trying to contact someone at Spyderco rather than publicly bash them. You may not have intended that, but it looks that way. I have been in the customer service industry for many years until recently. I really feel social media has m...

Out of pure curiosity, what was the nature of the concern? For some reason, I noticed that the linerlock didn't have tension against the blade tang, as my S30V Military does, when releasing it from the locked position. Upon opening the blade, the linerlock did engage as it should but it felt odd to...

Sorry for not replying to a few posts asking specific questions....mainly because I don't have the patience to try and do a multi post response on my iPhone, so here you go; By receiving credit towards the other knife, does this mean that you loose the CF Military due to exchange? ...... Unfortunate...

I highly agree, Paul. Although I have read some not so positive threads about customer service lately, it has been many years since my last interaction with them so I really didn't know what to expect. And while the Blade show may have been this past weekend, I really doubt that Spyderco headquarter...

It has strayed a bit off topic but I, for one, don't mind. I really wasn't intending on this thread being a Spyderco bash fest.

I read that part and wrote obviously to be sarcastic.if you felt with them b4 u now it would take a long time. Did you do a exchange b4.?that last sentence who are you yelling at? The first time that I dealt with them ended up with an exchange and the whole experience didn't take more than three we...

That is an excessive amount of time. Unless it was something unusual which they should have explained to you I have a difficult time seeing it taking from a tuesday to a following friday to ship. Still, I'd have to call a supervisor. Trying to communicate through forums is not the most efficient wa...

KBR, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Things happened. I sent in the past knives to Golden CS several times. Sometimes my issues were solved pretty fast, sometimes much longer that I wish. Still in my experience with Amanda and Charlynn, they did everything they could to help. IMHO communi...

I'm not throwing an online fit about this but rather using the forums for one of the reasons that they were intended for.....for a line of dialogue between Spyderco and the end line user. Not all discussion may be positive.

Joe, just to clear this up, I called and spoke with Terri LAST week(Tuesday)and found out this past Monday that the knife wouldn't ship until THIS coming Friday. From what I was told in an email. My intention with this thread, and the one on BF, is not to 'attack' Spyderco or Charlynn. The sole purp...

I hear ya, Wolf. I do have my S30V Millie that I carry everyday along with a small custom fixed blade but my whole point for this is to get the communication going. My case is going to be resolved soon, hopefully, but I'm sure there are other people that may be getting this same silence. I don't tak...

In the 15+ years that I've bought, carried and used Spyderco knives, I've only had to deal with customer service/warranty and repair a total of three times. The two previous times were resolved in very short periods of time compared to this one. As previously stated, all I would ask for is a return ...
