Significance: I was hiking at the grand canyon last summer, military in pocket, when I saw a tree on the edge of the canyon. I thought to myself "wow that would be a great spot to take some pics of my knives."

I use hoppes 9 penetrating oil and CRK grease. The CRK grease is some really great stuff IMO.

With the advent of forums why would you pay money for yesterdays info? Heck I bought one issue of blade to see if it was any good. I bought it in June and they were talking about SHOT show.... everything they show can be seen on forums for free in real time.

The izula folder will not be made, instead they are going to be doing an ESEE3 folder, they are meeting with a taiwanese manufacturer at SHOT to work out the details.

Did you watch Ankerson's video? Did you see any ninja editing? He cut everything on God's green earth and it would still cut paper. Maybe CT can't put an edge on a knife?

That's an interesting video, now it just seems funny that they would go so far out of their way to do all this. It probably has to do with making 3 times the product out of the same amount of material.

not really. composite blades cost about what they should. really its only an extra step or two ...

I just found out about these, Im really curious. A ton of vanadium, almost no carbon. Any one have info on these steels? Id love to know the pros and cons, and ideal uses for it! New steel excites me.
