yep i just bought a new creekcompany pontoon late last year- so this is goin right on the PFD - already got the lanyard ready - if this knife drops im drowning going after it

Nope i dont really think i NEED a locking knife and that is why i originally was leaning towards a UKPK but...

in the end Janich won with his suggestion of the Ambitious - it arrived today and I dig it

Ill still get a UKPK on down the road but for now its time to field test this

I think the real issue here is that you are suffering from Repetitive Stress Injury caused by repetition of using your thumb to close your knife 600+ times a day. Another knife with a different method of closing will help but you'll be doing that 600+ times a day X's 5 days a week (3000+ reps) also ...

thanks to you all - a lot of good suggestions! Wharncliff is a tad bit too much $ to justify it as a box knife at work. I was sold on the UKPK up until M. Janich suggested those 2 value folders - I hadn't even seen them before.

Im gonna give the AMBITIOUS a try as it is a similar if not exact blade ...
