Got mine from KC today!. I was a little worried about the lack of liners, but its totally sturdy without them, very pleased.

The finish on the blade is PERFECT and it came scary sharp out of the box. Very glad to finally have this blade!

(No pics because I'm lame, sorry :p )

See this post from earlier today: Hey, thanks, looks like I missed that :D Anyway, KC got back to me. The guy basically said that, having preordered in Dec., I should be "well positioned" to receive one, presumably when they get their main shipment in, but he did not say whether or not AL...

For all you knifecenter pre-orderers: Dodo on KC Looks like they finally took off the preorder option. I've been checking it daily, haha. I sent them an email to clarify on the situation and I'll post an update if they reply with any relevant info. I have no idea why the release of the dodo is going...

I got an email from KC today, saying they still didn't have it (this is the email I've been getting the past 3 months). So, hopefully, I'll get one of the next batches coming up.

I, too ordered on maybe the 2nd or 3rd day preorder was open, so I'm crossing my fingers for one of these.

Does anyone have an update on where to preorder? I see Knife Center has the option, but I've heard they sometimes can't fulfill orders. Any help is appreciated. I'm no veteran with sprint runs, as this is my first spydie preorder, but the other sites like BladeHQ were out of preorders within 2 days...

I'm glad its been confirmed, I think orange G10 will look great, and of course the blade will be excellent.

I would also love to see a dodo, in any color, however something like a UKPK or Delica would surely be a popular choice.

Well, I never really thought about this much tbh. The main reason that comes to mind where a lock would be handy is SD. I personally dont plan on ever using a blade for SD (as I am no martial artist), but you never know what could happen, and that lock might come in handy someday. Another point is t...

I really like spyderco because (one of many reasons) they have taken very upper end quality knives and manufactured them at a reasonable price. There are way too many knife companies out there that produce $10-$40 crapknives. Let spyderco excel at what they really do well. High end, high quality kn...

It isn't really, I just don't really want too many more medium/large knives, at least for a while. Idk, I guess I'm getting more attracted to some of the smaller-bladed knives But, thanks to you guys, and your pics LorenzoL, the Manix 2 has just officially gone on my "DO WANT" list for spy...
