I'm more confused now than I was before. It was a simple question, which Spyderco folder knives are legal to carry in California?

Thanks for all the responses. I had no idea there is material in cardboard boxes that is harder than my knife blade and could scratch it. Very educational, thanks again!

Paper/Cardboard Scratching Blade

The only things I have been using my VG-10 Stretch for lately, is opening paper envelopes and slicing some boxes. Noticed I'm getting scratches on both sides of the face of the blade. Is this normal when cutting these materials? I haven't been hitting staples in the materials.

Remove Blade Scratches?

Is there an easy way to remove blade scratches without damaging the Spyderco logo and other markings? I get a lot of horizontal scratches that go against the grain on the blade, which makes them stand out more. I know you can't help but get scratches on a working knife, but I still want it to look g...

The only down side to the Tenacious line, is the blade doesn't hold an edge very well. I can get mine razor sharp and does well with the paper test. But then it seems to lose that sharpness if I do to many paper tests, odd.

But it's still a good knife for the price point.

One thing I noticed about this Persistence is that the blade doesn't sit centered in the liner when closed. Is there a way to adjust it?

UPDATE: I found this that explains the cause as the G10 handle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU797Pkmq1Q

Persistence

Just picked up a Spyderco Persistence on Amazon at a great price, for someone on my Christmas list. I must say I like the size better than my Tenacious. It's perfect for opening boxes, letters and more compact for carrying than the Tenacious. Thinking about keeping it for myself now. I know the Tena...

Lanyards

The black clip on my Stretch is getting scratched, I keep touching it up but it keeps getting scratched. So I've been thinking about using a lanyard instead. Just wondering where's a good place for a deal?

My Sharpmaker arrived today. The packaging sure was a pain to open. But so far I really like the feel of this sharpener. I haven't sharpened a knife yet, as I'm still trying to figure out what angle I should use and learn about the purpose of back beveling. I'm also wondering if I need additional st...

Spyderco told me it was 18-20 degrees per side, at least for the Tenacious.
