So, from what i can gather,a little bit of play in the blade when closed is considered normal. Just got it yesterday,and other than that i love it. Locks up tight open and sharp as ****.Not even sure i would call it play,but if you shake it hard it will hit the liners.Anybody elses do that ?

For bait,i would try clams,shrimp,or cut bait. It really depends on what your fishing for though.

I just think brand new knives need to break in.I would sooner have my lock a little stickey from new,as long as they get better with a little time and mine has.To each their own though.If that has worked for you,thats cool.I would just be afraid to ruin a good knife. I just traded a Benchmade 755 MPR for a Spyderco Spyderhawk pe,and an older stainless Delica pe in mint condition. Sound like a decent deal ? The delica has phillips screws for the clip,not torx,that does make it an older one right ?

Anybody going to the show in Easton next weekend? I was never there and didn't know if it was a decent show or not. Its about an hour haul for me,and i don't wanna go if it sucks.Custom and production,or mostly custom.

Mine did that also when i got it. All i did to fix it was take some coarse sandpaper and run it through the opening a few times to take a little frn off. That was the problem with mine,the blade was rubbing the handle a bit keeping it from snapping shut. Its fine now.

Whatever you do don't smack it with a hammer and punch,trust me.I tried that with mine and it made it alot worse.
