I just sanded around it holding the paper as flat as i could.Thats why i used the card.Be careful not to hit the pivot shaft, just the shelf. If you have everything back together properly,i think this should solve your problem.I was scared at first but i just went for it.Glad i did,its now my second ...

When i first got my Manix 2,it had pretty bad blade play when closed but not open. I did alot of research, and found out this was somewhat normal. What i had to do was take it apart and do a little fine sanding to the pivot.I took a piece of 1500 and folded it over a credit card and lightly sanded the ...

I traded a used Chinook 1 and a Used Boker/Nealy fixed blade for it. It was kinda hard to get an exact value on the Millie. Found them on the net for anywhere from 175 to 300 bucks. The trade was with my nephew, we swap knives back and forth all the time. So if i didn't get the upper hand this time ...

Carbon Fiber Millie

So last week i received a C36CFP Millie in trade. Its NIB, I mean there's not a scratch on it, blade or pocket clip. I've been carrying it for the last week, but have'nt cut anything with it yet. I heard there was only 400 of these made,so am i nutts for carrying it ? I'm not usually one for having a ...

Manix 2

So, from what i can gather,a little bit of play in the blade when closed is considered normal. Just got it yesterday, and other than that i love it. Locks up tight open and sharp as ****.Not even sure i would call it play, but if you shake it hard it will hit the liners.Anybody elses do that ?

Delica Wave

Can anyone give me a quick description of the proper way to use a waved knife. I have quite a few spydies, but none with this feature. I just bought a Delica wave but don't seem to have the knack yet. Is the idea to catch the pocket and partialy open it, or whip it out and fully open it. Cool blade ...

Para 1 clip question

Do the clip screws of the original Para thread into the liner at all, or just the g-10.The knife is fairly new to me,and its kinda hard to tell with them being on the pivot end.I bought it at a show.I wanted a Millie, but none to be found,so i settled for a Para.Glad i did so far,but if those screws ...

I just think brand new knives need to break in.I would sooner have my lock a little stickey from new,as long as they get better with a little time and mine has.To each their own though. If that has worked for you, thats cool.I would just be afraid to ruin a good knife. I didn't mean to sound as harsh ...

I WOULD NOT advise taking any material off of any liner lock or compression lock, sorry but thats terrible advise.I got my Para 1 two weeks ago,and the action was a little gritty, also the lock was sticky.Use it alot, rinse it out with dish soap and water.A drop of oil in the pivot, and use it some more ...

I just got a Para. myself last weekend at a show.I haven't used it alot yet,but i like it alot so far.Light weight and sturdy, sharp as **** and perfect size. The compression lock takes a little getting used to(not as easy to manipulate one handed). My lock is a little sticky also, but its getting ...

Paramillitary questions

Is the compression lock "sticky" by nature. I scored one at the Easton show over the weekend. Its not very smooth, and the lock sticks. I dont own any other compression lock spydies,so i have nothing to compare it to. I'm guessing it will get smoother with time. I tried the pencil lead trick, and it ...

I would gladly post a pic,but i'm for the most part computer challenged. Is a stainless delica rare ? My idea of mint might be different than others. Its got the typical surface scratches on the handle from sliding in and out of your pocket that those handles get. No blade scratches,or chips,or any ...

Good trade ?

I just traded a Benchmade 755 MPR for a Spyderco Spyderhawk pe,and an older stainless Delica pe in mint condition. Sound like a decent deal ? The delica has phillips screws for the clip, not torx, that does make it an older one right ?

Easton PA Knife show

Anybody going to the show in Easton next weekend? I was never there and didn't know if it was a decent show or not. Its about an hour haul for me,and i don't wanna go if it sucks.Custom and production,or mostly custom.

Mine did that also when i got it. All i did to fix it was take some coarse sandpaper and run it through the opening a few times to take a little frn off. That was the problem with mine, the blade was rubbing the handle a bit keeping it from snapping shut. Its fine now.

old school endura

Anybody know if its possible to tighten up the clip on an old school endura. Its one with an FRN clip. I don't carry it much, because i almost lost it years ago.It would be kinda cool to carry it again, but i don't wanna loose it.It was my first knife with a pocket clip so it brings back memories. I ...
