+1 for the Para 2. I just cant say enough good things about it!

That is lower than I would have guessed. Are you sure about that? That seems pretty soft for s30v.

Does anyone know what Spyderco s30v rockwells at?

If you have ever looked at the serrations that you can get on a Sebenza, they are done on both side instead of just one.

I was looking at Shun Kitchen knives and noticed that they have knives made with both VG-10 as well as SG2. My question is this. Is SG2 just another name for ZDP-189? If not what is SG2 and how does it compare to something like s30v or ZDP-189? I noticed that nobody seems to be using that steel to ...

Does anybody have a review on the ctx-xhp carpenter steel? I was wondering how it compared to s30v? Im also trying to get a feel for how their steels compare to that of crucibles. Are they better, worse or about the same. Please help to educate me on this. Thanks

It definitely would be nice to get an official word on this. I too am waiting on a Para 2 and would love to have just a ballpark idea as to when there would be more coming as well as what the exact cause of the holdup is. No problem either way though.

I am looking for a descent machete for camping/around the house yard work. I dont need "top of the line" but I also don't want junk. Any recommendations? As far as price I would like to get the best bang for the buck on this. Just a solid knife at a descent price. Thanks in advance for your help.
