ERRR! My hart is still recovering from the loss of my g-10 Civilian I bought back in 09. This was not only my first Spyderco but it was the first knife I spent over $80 for and when I got in hand to truly examine it I immediately knew what quality was.

Yes! I like mine a lot. Great combination of materials and design. This knife also ( in my opinion) proves that a knife doesn't have to come in titanium to be hailed in the same regard.

I see the used ones on bf and ebay going for over three and the new in box ones going for over four almost in the five range.

I think if people were forced to use their real names the crap talking would leave. People hide behind these screen names and let their true show.

nishijin glass fiber is prolly the most interesting handle material I've seen on any knife. It looks similar to the cloth that's wrapped around samurai sword handles. It would nice to see some color integrated into it I.e. Red, brite green, orange...obviously not the whole scheme but little threads...

I've been screaming about this knife longer than any other I know of so .......I'm in!

With all of this twitter and facebook going on in todays society I can't figure out why we can't band together and shut down our memberships. Do this and prices will roll back because some money is better than NO money. The consumer is the one in control.

This just makes me want to sell mine for $ 750.
And don't tell me no one would pay it because I'm sure they would but all this could be avoided if spyderco would release the knife in another sprint in a thousand pieces maybe.....

+1. I thought that I lost a SAK that I had bought in Europe several decades ago and carried without fail. That model is no longer made. After I bought another SAK to take its place, I found the original knife which had fallen into some folds in a comforter. Poke around, you never know. Yeah time to...
