They're not coated because your hand is suppose to be rapped around it covering the screws up from view. Jk

You'll stop thinking this when you see people paying upwards of 25% more than you for the same knife a year our two down the line. I use to think the same thing about my 630 Skirmish and CF Manix until I started seeing what I would have to deal with if I wanted those same knives today.

Yes, let them handle the QC before getting them out. As we all know somethings haven't been lining up or buffed out with other highly anticipated folders from other companies due to trying to satisfy customer hunger.

I think they should do periodic reruns of their sprints but spyderco isn't stupid its a company. Companies only do things that gain them a profit. And doing one time only sprint runs seems to be working, that is why they keep doing it this way. So could they do another sprint of your favorite model?...
