Ahh okay, I have been trying to do it with the blade screwed on first, the pocket clip second. I figured with the two washers this would just be simpler. I will give this way a try, hopefully it works even though I'm not able to loosen the backbar/g-10 screw.

Hmm okay that middle screw may be stripped. But besides that, when I get one screw in (the pivot or the pocket clip) the other then does not align. And I spent a good hour trying to force it without any success.

Wait so, how is this done? I am having the same problem. Anyone have some input please? I am not able to remove the middle screw or get the pocket clip screw back into place.

First, this is not a hit on Amazon, they are great. This is just one experience I had with buying used off their warehouse.

Like most non-standard blade profiles I bet they'd be good at pretty much everything but cutting on a flat surface.

Oddly enough, I didn't get an American made Spydie until after my first dozen or so! Are that few of them made in Golden? So many of mine are from Seki City. I have no problem with it, in fact, The Sage II (Taiwan made) is on my my faves. It just feels good to have a few from our own Golden, CO, USA ...
