Ahh okay, I have been trying to do it with the blade screwed on first, the pocket clip second. I figured with the two washers this would just be simpler. I will give this way a try, hopefully it works even though I'm not able to loosen the backbar/g-10 screw.

Oddly enough, I didn't get an American made Spydie until after my first dozen or so! Are that few of them made in Golden? So many of mine are from Seki City. I have no problem with it, in fact, The Sage II (Taiwan made) is on my my faves. It just feels good to have a few from our own Golden, CO, USA ...
