Ever seen him at a knife show? There are plenty of Spydie fans crowding around him, and he doesn't seem to mind. Although I didn't see anyone asking for autographs, and pics weren't allowed...

Acetone takes the marker right off the blade. No pain at all (unless you cut your finger). :)

Can anyone provide info on this? I'm wondering if it's a genuine Spydie, or some kind of homebrew. Same seller has another one listed, with a slightly different slot in the back of the blade.

Seller lists itas a Spyderco while acknowledging it's not "the real mccoy". :mad:

+1 on that. I've only made two sales outside the US and regretted it both times. The small extra margin wasn't worth the hassle.

Spyderco also manufactures two models in China (not Taiwan), the Tenacious and Persistence. Both outstanding knives for the money.
