By my calculation Resilience is the new leader among folders: 9 3/8" 4 1/4" 0.453.

Love that full length edge. :)

It's a shame those individuals aren't simply kept tranquilized to the point they're not a threat to the good guys.

Ever seen him at a knife show? There are plenty of Spydie fans crowding around him, and he doesn't seem to mind. Although I didn't see anyone asking for autographs, and pics weren't allowed...

Acetone takes the marker right off the blade. No pain at all (unless you cut your finger). :)

Combination Spydie/ruler/prybar...?

Can anyone provide info on this? I'm wondering if it's a genuine Spydie, or some kind of homebrew. Same seller has another one listed, with a slightly different slot in the back of the blade.

My pleasure. I also reported it (and all other fakes I see listed) to eBay. Don't know if eBay ever does anything about them... :(

Yet another counterfeit

Seller lists itas a Spyderco while acknowledging it's not "the real mccoy".

"do we really need to EDC lockers when a SLIPIT would do the same job " We don't, but removing locks in my mind is de-evolutionary...... As the knife evolved, it improved. From fixed to folders, to better folders, from crappy locks, to great locks. So, why would we want to remove the lock...

+1 on that. I've only made two sales outside the US and regretted it both times. The small extra margin wasn't worth the hassle.

Spyderco also manufactures two models in China (not Taiwan), the Tenacious and Persistence. Both outstanding knives for the money.

Fake AO Spydie?

I know next to nothing about Spyderco's assisted openers and auto's, but something about this doesn't seem right. Can anyone confirm or deny?
