Ok i just watched the episode and based on my extensive googling i'm goign to say it's a Fox Knives Karambit. Both are waved and have a tear drop shaped opening hole.

That is a second run CTS-XHP Manix 2. I got that online last week but it had a manufacturing defect. I brought it with me so they could take care of it while i was at the SFO.

While waiting for my manix's repair I saw too many shiny things at the SFO and went a wee bit overboard. Well i took it to the SFO and they took care of it right away. it's razor sharp now. i also spent way too much while i was there. balance, perrin ppt, Ti millie, bug flash drive and a free combo edge delica 4 for buying the balance. I'll setup pics in another thread once i get to my hotel.

Thanks for the response Sal High res pics of the edge, some of them came out really well. here's the full gallery of high res pics http://s156.photobucket.com/albums/t28/freedoom_/Knives/manix%20edge/ this one really shows how the edge was messed up, you can see how it's cutting edge was ground flat...

Just spoke to spyderco CS, they said they would take care of me when i go to the SFO. So i'll get some pics of the edge for you guys and let you know next week how the trip to the SFO went!

I just got off the phone with their customer service. Because of the limited availability of it they can't promise me a replacement but they did offer a refund. they did say if i try to sharpen it myself i can't return it. However i am taking a trip to denver next week. I may leave it as is and take...

I got it from Knife Center. I'm out of luck if they are out of stock so i think i'll try sharpening it before i go the customer service route.
