Hi Pete, I was surprised to see you post this, especially on a Spyderco forum. Assuming you are not a troll, there are many knife companies making knives with hole openers. Perhaps you should just buy their knives instead of Spyderco's? sal I have bought knives with hole openers but none are as goo...

I too really like the Spyderhole. I hope another manufacturer challenges the trademark because I'd like to see the Spyderhole on other manufacturers' knives.

I've had my Mili that i bought used on eBay for about 2 yrs now. It always had up and down play. One day upon further examination i found that the lock bar was the culprit. I sent it to Spyderco and it's now fixed. From the looks of it they replaced the lock bar and the stop pin. Here's what it was...

By "mandatory", do you mean having your finger forced into the choil by a too-short handle (the Dragonfly does this to my hand), or do you mean having a choiled and non-choiled version of the same model? The former, but I do like the Dragonfly. I like the choil on the Military for example...

If by "normal" you mean "factory original", then yes, it is. Personally, I think the new "reinforced tip" on the fourth generation Endura and Delica looks like an amateur regrind of a broken tip. I always regrind mine as soon as I get them. Thanks for the info. I wante...

I really like the detent on lockbacks--it's the perfect amount of force and I know it won't open in my pocket under any circumstance, unlike many liner and frame locks

I like my knives to have a choil, but the choil needs to be an option--some Spyderco knives feel like they were designed to only be used with the choil.

Will Military get the Paramilitary handle?

I really like the traction upgrade the deeper index finger groove on the Paramilitary handle provides. In comparison, the Military's index groove is very shallow. A deeper index finger groove would especially help Ti or carbon fiber models. Will the Military be seeing similar design changes?

Spyderco makes incredible knives but you're really missing out if you only buy Spyderco. Kershaw/ZT especially looks to be on fire this year with some of their upcoming designs.
