Spyderco Customer Service rocks!

I'm sure most of you know, Spyderco's customer service is nothing less than top notch.

I'm not always an easy customer and I can be a little hard to deal with, but Charlynn stuck with me through 2 Szabofly returns and personally inspected the final one to make sure it's what I wanted.

I'll walk ...

I see, I couldn't tell the Manix 2 and p'kal were because they aren't exposed. I like the exposed look better.

Those Phoenixs are sweet!

I got an e-mail from Char the other day. She told me she personally inspected my knife and promised me everything but the moon if I wasn't satisfied.

I can't wait to get it back :)

I hope you get things resolved to your satisfaction, droc. Actually, he didn't reply to my last couple of emails either. :o He must be pretty swamped at the moment. He'll probably get things under control in a couple of days.

Thanks doc, I appreciate it. I know I'm picky sometimes.

My e-mail ...

Other Ball Bearing locks besides Poliwog?

I was just wondering if Spyderco has made any models in the past besides the Poliwog that feature the ball bearing lock?

I was going back and forth about it, but I think I'll go with the stainless. The g-10 must be lighter and more functional, but the uniform stainless does have a nice flow.

I sent the Forester back yesterday ($25 Priority to Canada, in a shipping box) with a note saying I would like an unopened replacement, not a repack, even though he never responded to my last e-mail.

New Spyderco Leaf Storm ~ C128G

This thing looks like a tank! http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=433

S30V blade, full frame-lock titanium scale, g-10 on the reverse and torx fasteners to bring it all together. Only thing I don't care for is the color of the G-10. True, black G-10 is a little played out, but this ...

I know some people collect knives, but Spyderco is in the *tool* business, and if it's not going to affect functioning, it's not a QC issue. If you want a perfect knife, best to stick to purchasing from a store where you can handle it first.

Gimme a break, Spyderco has always been form and ...

Umm, no offense but you really need to stop ranting about things just because you're upset with the knife. He said whatever it is he'll take are of it. As in he WILL issue you a full refund. The checking packaging has nothing to do with trusting spyderco, it shows he's being more cautions, it's ...

So much for anonymity -- I think most of us recognize the dealer. Fortunately, the dealer looks to be acting very reasonably and professionally. Which I would expect, since I have dealt with him lots myself and always been happy. I'm not sure what your concern is...he offered to pay for shipping ...

Your attitude, on the other hand, seems far less reasonable.

Ok, I guess I'm asking too much to expect something that's brand new to not be opened and messed with... If I could have easily removed the scratches I would have been fine with the knife, but I couldn't, so every time I look at the ...

Hossom Woodlander and Forester upset (not beacause of the knife!)

Got my Hossom Woodlander today. A Day Hiker was supposed to be with it to complete the collection, but I guess they ran out and didn't bother to tell me. Supposedly the credited the money back to me for the DH, I'll have to check my statement.

Love the knife, just like I loved my Forager when I got ...

I really hate to argue, but I am positive about three things: Laci Szabo's name was not on the knife, no spydie symbol, and it at least said USA Earth on one side (it was the first time I saw it and I thought it was funny).

Before I sent the knife in for W & R I was looking around on the net and I ...

Just got a Forager in the mail yesterday, now I want a Forester! This thing is sweet! Isn't the N690 cobalt the same steel Extrema uses? I had a few of their knives some years ago, but they were always too expensive to use!

I've always loved Jerry's designs but I was never lucky enough to get the ...

I got a Forager in the mail yesterday. The blade was a little dull, but other than that the knife is flawless. I gave it a little tender care with my fine stone, ceramic rod and butcher's steel to profile the tippy tip of the edge down a bit and the thing shaves now.

They might leave a high angle ...
