Blue Lum Chinese folder. This knife just feels great in my hand.

I love my Blue Lum Chinese folder. It is my fastest knife that I can deploy and the feel in the hand is awsome. I also need to buy another to stash away in my gun safe.

I cary the stainless steel co-pilot for business enviroments. Similar to the stainless Dragonfly that you currently have but a little smaller.

I've been on Amtrak only once and must say that it was a very enjoyable ride. I used my knife to cut fruit and it did not bother anyone. I also brought along my radio scanner and listened to all the radio talk between the conductors, engineers and stations.

I've ordered from eknifeworks.com in the past and they are the real deal. Their shipping cost is a little high but their service and quick shippment is great. The Jess Horn lightweight is one of my EDC and I feel it fills my needs well. It is small enough such that it won't get me into trouble with the local laws and it is still quite usefull as a tool and self defense wepon.

I'm looking for books on matial blade craft, knife fighting and self defense using a knife. Any recomendations?

My vote would be for the SS Dragonfly PE. Mine is fitted and finished really well. It shines like a jewel so it appears less intimidating.

I had a problem with the liner lock on my Lum titanium tanto folder. When it was new, if I opened the blade very slowly, the liner lock would not fully engage. Newgrahm is a great mail order/online seller of Spydercos. I bought the gun metal blue Lum Chinese folder and the SS Dragonfly from them. Their prices are good and they charge you a fair amount for shipping.

Samo, Those praws are awsome. I work near the Oakland, California Chinatown and I have seen some large praws for sale but nothing like the monsters that you are catching.

I'll be visiting one of my best friends tomorrow, he is from Malaysia, I'll have to talk to him about those prawns.

The Lum Chinese Folder is my favorite knife and I feel it is one of the best knives the Spyderco makes. I can deploy the blade very fast and it feels good in my hand.

The Blue Lum Chinese folder is my favorite.
