Definitely the Karahawk, Tatanka and Worker sprint. Some others may end up calling my name too.

I did not see the Friction Folder in this catalog. Did I miss it or has it been postponed? (It was in the 2013 catalog.)

I have always liked the Native (probably due to my smaller hand size) and with the high end steel, this one will see quite a bit of pocket time. Fit and finish are excellent as usual but as others have said, the out of the box sharpness is not quite as keen as I like it. I guess that this weekend I ...

First was an Endura in G10.
Latest was a Leaf Storm.
Surprised by the number I have amassed so far.

Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster of 7 years (so far) here. First off, find out what your Troop/Pack and Council allow. While (despite many misconceptions/Scouting "urban legends") there are no limitations on what knife a Scout may carry, many units have their own restrictions. Most do not allow...

I got mine yesterday. Beautiful knife. This is my first Caly and I now realize what a great EDC knife it can be. While the fact that it is in Damascus and a Sprint run screams collector, this knife will spend some time in my pocket-- maybe not out camping, but surely at work.

About 2 weeks ago I reached into the pocket that I had my Rock Lobster in to retrieve some keys. The knife had come partly open and before I felt it I had started to peel a piece of skin about 1/4" wide and 3/4" long off my ring finger. Had to keep it bandaged for nearly a week since it wa...

I find the convex grind of the Hossoms great for camp chores/chopping. I find my Forrester a better chopper and preferable to the also fantastic ESEE Junglas.
Something similar to the Forrester but with less expensive handles and carbon steel to keep the price lower would be great.

Perhaps the angle of the photo is deceiving-- one of the Hossoms is a Forager (the other is a Forrester).

Unless I buy a knife solely for collecting (generally something commemoratory or possilby in Damascus) I buy it to use it. Cost is not the determining factor. I have $40 knives I consider collectors and $300 knives that I use.

I think this makes me a Spyderco collector

I have been lurking on this forum for some time and figured it was appropriate to post something of an introduction before posting in other threads. I have been collecting knives for 3 or 4 years now. I started with old Boy Scout knives (I am an Eagle Scout and currently a Scoutmaster for my sons' T...
