Re: Spyderco Native 3
There's not a whole lot of information on the numbers produced. https://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php/C78_Native_III has a bit of info. I've carried one of these and agree with you.

Knife name missing on FRN knives.
Hi all, I mainly lurk these days, though have recently noticed changes in the FRN knives. When did Spyderco remove knife names encircling the Spyder in their molds for some of their FRN knives? In checking the Native C41 and the Manix 2 FRN's the Spyder in the scales are plain. Thanks

Re: On second thought, why not try something different.
I'm liking the feedback I've gotten on my post. Yes, I'm a grumpy old man with way too many Spyderco's, if there is such a thing. I too look at steels, country of origin, and lock design when making my decision on what to carry. Especially for the carry component. It is nice to hand someone a knife ...

On second thought, why not try something different.
The ongoing results occurring in the " Let's settle this once and for all." thread gave me pause.
Well, I’m humbled! I collected Spyderco’s for years and slowed way down when so many knives and makers went tactical. The Military, too large for me, the Para 2 the same, I had a bit of interest in the ...

Re: Any Spyderco Q (C35) knives out there hiding????
Hey there USA,
You've picked one of my favorite knives. I amassed quite a few back in the day, though my collection has dwindled as time has passed. Here is some eye candy of what I have owned or still own. I need to do an inventory since I've slowed my buying and selling. I could only load a few ...

Re: "New" design
I like that you mixed in the Lava. What a great little big knife. It locks into your hand and gives you total control of the blade. I don't have a Insistant but imagine the ergos to be very similar.

I wrote this last month and waffled on posting it. Now this thread comes along, and this seems to fit.

Re: Anyone else concerned?
Interesting question, I’ve been a huge Spyderco fan early on. I’ve amassed a fairly large collection though really since the Military craze; I have lost much of my passion. Please don’t get me wrong, I think that the Military, Paramilitary, and the Para 3 are great knives. Just not for me.

Re: Spyderco Q possible prototype???
I finally have had a bit of time to look through my collection. In inspecting 5 of my 1st Gen Q's, 2 show the same rough plastic at the pivot area, 3 are much better in how they were molded. This input from me is not to prove or disprove anything. It's just observations I've made on some of the ...

Re: Spyder Classics: The C-80 Dodo model
Hey JD, I've always enjoyed the feel of the scales on the Dodo as well as the Yojimbo since they seem so similar in many ways. When I think about the control over the blade that a large handle knife like the Dodo gives the user, nothing but confidence is instilled in me when using. The extended ...

Re: Teaching a rookie to sharpen serrated Spyderco on Tormek
Okay, I hate to be critical though there is not much I like about this sharpening video, though I can learn from good and bad techniques. First off, I'd hate to be this rookie and second, this method really shortens the life of the serrations. I never attack the serrations from the flat side grind ...

Re: Meerkat phantom lock
The Meerkat is a very nice knife and the lock works well. Me being a right hander when trying to use this knife with my left feels a bit awkward though know that anything I do left handed feels awkward. The oddity though comes from pulling with the thumb and pushing with the fingers rather than how ...

My question is: Are we able to combine items for shipping? Since knives are only secured after purchase many buyers may choose to make multiple purchases.
