Agreed....no bolsters on a Native :confused:

I think that if Strider can do a SnG in S110V and keep it within the same cost range as thier S30V model, then Spyderco could achieve the same with an S110V Native. Secondary market prices will jump when they are sold out, but I just don't see this hitting $200+

Howes may have some collector numbers on reserve. I ordered with Bento because I thought it was exclusive. If it was normal stock, then I would have gone elsewhere.

There is another thread about this and sal said that production has been too good( :-) )and there are not very many 2nds to speak of. Also he said there needs to be a beter system in place for the sale. I for one am fine cause with all these new models that came out in the past year and to come soo...

I havn't been scoping the forms for a while, but is there a Factory 2nds sale this year? Tomorrow?

I just got one from KC. The front scale is really blue and nice looking, but the back side is a bit lighter in color. The note inside explains how they are hand torched so there is variation in coloring. I'm still pretty pleased with the knife.

The fedex man has mine. I hope it does not have one also. :D

Pass. As much as I like the Starmate, I personally feel that adding a big slab of metal, even titanium, to one or both sides would turn a great lightweight knife into a boat anchor. Not to mention than I absolutely despise having that exposed lockbar under my fingers. I prefer my knives to be finis...

Well RIL may not be a word, but a acronym...that is besides the point... With the popularity of the Starmate folders and Spyderco's strong relationship with Bob T.....why not? The RIL Military and the Knifeworks exclusive was a big hit. The Lum tanto is being revisited, so why not this model? It is ...

I'd want one in a laminated steel to give it a hamon look to it. Put me down for one.

Mike Snody also has made some fixed blades out of the stuff. I've never had one, but heard they are great for holding an edge.

I like a full flat grind wharny blade :D
