Re: Could use some help deciding between lil native comp lock and frn chaparral
Yeah they both maybe on the bigger side for me but on the other hand I really want a knife I carry everyday. So I’m trying to decide if I need that knife to be the most comfortable in use and be a little bit bigger but able to do almost everything. Or have a smaller knife that I don’t really like th...

Re: Could use some help deciding between lil native comp lock and frn chaparral
Oh so many choises!! Although I keep narrowing it down. I’m currently on 4 choises. All with pros and cons. I know it’s blasphemy but they’re not al spyderco. -Benchmade proper. Pocketable and slim, but no clip. -Benchmade mini bugout. Axis lock and very slim, but exposed tang. -Chaparral. Slim and...

Re: Could use some help deciding between lil native comp lock and frn chaparral
Oké so the opinions are quite universal, the chap over the lil native. Now to narrow down if it will Ben the chap or the sage. I’m leaning towards the chap now and a pm2 in the future for trying the comp lock.
Leaning towards the chap for pocketability

Re: Could use some help deciding between lil native comp lock and frn chaparral
Well,I would 100% get the Chaparral. I´ll give you my reasoning, but keep in mind that this is true for what I personally like in knives, and mostly very subjective by that. - The Chaparral is only slightly longer in closed size, but a lot thinner, slimmer and lighter in carry, while offering over ...

Re: Could use some help deciding between lil native comp lock and frn chaparral
Now that I was browsing the catalog the sage 5 caught my attention. Maybe the best of both worlds.. I only worry it is ‘to big’. I’m more of a small knife guy.

Could use some help deciding between lil native comp lock and frn chaparral
I’m trying to decide between a lil native and a chaparral. The chap has the blade shape I like and is nice and thin so great for office carry. However I read everywhere that the backlock is stiff and hard to disengage. The native has the ergonomic handle and compression lock, never had a compression...

Squeak vs manbug/ladybug
Hi, I'm looking for a new very small EDC knife. Currently I'm EDC'ing a SE Ladybug salt and love it. Now i'm looking at the squeak and although it looks very cool i'm wondering if i should pay € 70,- for it. Does anyone have experience with both knives? Does a Squeak give me something my ladybug doe...

CF Caly 3: To use or not to use?
Thats the question :) . Oke, so last year for Christmas I gifted myself a beautiful carbon fiber Caly3, and I love it! Its one of the nicest knives I ever held in my hand, and put in my drawer... Thing is, it cost me € 130,- (about $ 175,-) and for me thats a lot of money for a knife. But the thing ...

spyderco: how it's made
if searched but couldn't find. Do you know the tv show: how it's made? Where you see the manufacturing proces of all kinds of household items? Is there something like that for spyderco knives? A movie clip of some sort where you can see how a spyderco knife is born, cut, assembled, sharpened and so ...

CF Caly3 Fit&Finish
Maybe I'm just a bit of a nitpick but here goes: If I look at the spine of the CF Caly 3, where the CF slabs meet je metal of the backspacer, the CF looks a bit raffled. It's not a clean transition from CF to metal to CF. In the picture galery the are some pictures of the Balance's spine where it lo...
