Paying $150 for a Titanium Salsa at Shoptimax is like robbing yourself... it's $100 at 1SKS, my personal suggestion would be to email Spark and ask him if he has the S curved Meerkats or can get them, chances are he can, if he can't try doing the same with the folks at Knifecenter.com and Knifeworks ...

Meerkat Versions...

Hey, just got the 2002 PDR today, it's fantastic, nice pics and well put together.

But I was wondering... in the catalog it lists the Meerkat in both AUS8 and 440C... upon closer examination of the pictures I noticed one blade was "straight", while the other had a slight reverse "S" curve ala ...

You are aware that G-2 has been renamed to GIN-1 (or Gingami-1 to be more specific), and is alive and well in several Benchmade models, right? Although granted you don't see G-2/GIN-1 Spydies much these days.

and higher capacity for their size (e.g. 15rds for your G19, and it's smaller than your 15rd Beretta 92)

I love Spyderco deeply, and I have no real problem with taiwan - but in my case, i'm willing to pay a bit extra to have my knives made in the USA - something to consider.
There's nothing quite as heartwarming as turning over my Native to that "Made in Golden, Colorado".
