Re: Li'l Temperance 3: A (not so) li'l review

I am patiently waiting for the LW version. I hope the steel used is more corrosion
resistant than S30V.

If the Dodofly is ever produced, please make a version with the Emerson opener.

Re: Byrd Cara Cara 2 Emerson Opener: NEAT!

Thanks. I believe I will enjoy it a lot. I really like the handle. And with the thinner blade, it's a great slicer for sure. I haven't bought a Byrd since the G10 Crossbill came out years ago. I didn't like that knife and got rid of it. This Cara Cara, on the other hand, is a keeper. The overall qua...

Re: Byrd Cara Cara 2 Emerson Opener: NEAT!

Picked one of these up yesterday and really like it. It fits in my hand very well. Hard to beat it for the price. My only concern is that the blade is thinner than even my FFG Endura.
Although it would raise the price, I would like one with a thicker blade.

Re: Yojumbo?

I held this knife at the Taipei Meet. To me, it seemed extremely well balanced.
Also, Eric mentioned the great lock strength it has.

Re: Street Beat Discussion

Hope to see a Spyderco version of the Subway Bowie in the near future. I know several people who love the Perrin designed Spydercos, but want something smaller for edc.

Re: Shot Show 2020? Anyone? Anyone?

Thanks for asking. At the Taipei Meet was a prototype of the Military 2. It looked good, but Eric said there was more work to do on it. I am curious to know if a finalized prototype is at SHOT SHOW. Also, if the Yojumbo is there, handle it and please post comments. I held it here. To me, it felt ext...

I own an original. A version in H1 SE version would be spectacular.

Re: Taipei Spyderco Meet

I've never owned or even held the original Chokwe. So, I can't comment on differences.

I found out the Squarehead was discontinued when I looked on line after the Meet. Didn't see any new ones at the Meet.

Taipei Spyderco Meet

Just want to thank Spyderco (and RGH knives) for holding this. There are lots of very impressive knives in the works. What I've found over time is that if Spyderco doesn't have a very specific style knife I'm looking for, be patient because in a year or two or three, they will. One surprising knife ...
