Re: Spyderco Medium vs Fine Bench Stone
Thanks for all the advise so far. I think I might try a spyderco medium stone and see how sharp I can get an edge. If I feel I need more, I'll try to get the fine later on.

Re: Spyderco Medium vs Fine Bench Stone
Thanks for the advice regarding the waterstones.
What kind of edge could I achieve if I stopped at the Spyderco Medium stone? Is there a lot of potential there, or would I need the fine also?

Spyderco Medium vs Fine Bench Stone
Hi,
I already have a Norton India combination stone (course 150 grit and fine 320 grit) and am considering adding finer stone. Im trying to choose between the medium and fine spyderco ceramic bench stones. The main purpose of this stone would be to touch up already sharp knives, but it would also ...

Need a T7 Torx Screw for PM2
Hi,
I just got a PM2 and noticed that one of the screws in the frame are slightly stripped. Does anyone know where I could get a T7 Torx screw that would replace it?
Thanks,
Jason

spyderco manix 2 s110v: Heavy Duty User?
Hi,
Would the spyderco manix 2 s110v still be considered a heavy duty user even though it is lightweight? Does the handle have any steel reinforcement inside, or is it all plastic? Just trying to determine what it could be used for.
Thanks for the help,
Jason

Value of a LNIB Shabaria
Hi,
I have a LNIB Carbon Fiber Shabaria. It is not really a knife I will ever use. What would be a fair price if I were to sell it?
Thanks

Quick Police help please
Hi,
Is there any difference between the stainless handle police made in 8/2005 (police only on the blade) and the current stainless handle police models (police and spyder symbol on the blade)?
I thought I read the current ones have a thicker point.
Also, are these considered strong folders ...

Steel Handles...How are they constructed?
Hi,
How are the steel handles constructed and held together, especially the Police?
Are they as strong as the G10 and screw construction? Do they develop bladeplay easier?
Thanks,
Jason

Green, D2 Para...still in production?
Hi,
I just bought a Para in D2 on impulse. I'm just curious if it's still in production or not? Are there any negative issues with this one? Usually I research a lot before a purchase.
Thanks,
Jason

Can the Para accomodate XXL Hands?
Hi,
I've been trying to decide between the Para and the Millie for a few weeks now. The Para seems to have the better lock, but is the handle big enough for someone with extra large hands?
Also, when did they add the jimping to the blade choil?
Thanks,
Jason

Military vs. Para Military Questions
Hi,
Do the newest S30V Militaries have dual liners, or is that just a feature of the BG42 CF Militaries?
Do the Paras have dual liners?
Also, aside from blade length, how does the military compare to the para-military? Is the liner lock as strong and reliable as the compression lock?

Steel Handled Enduras
Are the steel handled Endura 4's any stronger than the FRN models? How exactly are they constructed? Are they made out of a single piece of steel?
Thanks,
Jason

Endura 4's comparative strength ?
Hi,
Since both the Endura 4 and Benchmade's Griptilian have similar construction and materials, would they also be of similar strength? I am specifically wondering about lateral strength. I'm thinking about getting one more Endura 4 or a Griptilian, but if the Endura is just as strong, I'll go for ...

Advise on new Spyderco, please.
Hi,
I recently got an Endura 4 and am very impressed with Spyderco design and quality. For my next two spydercos I'm thinking about the blue 93mm rescue and the yellow plain edge Tasman.
Is the 93mm rescue considered to be a strong knife--I heard that it wasn't "MBC" rated and not as strong as ...

Just how sharp are they???
I am expecting my first spyderco, a military, any day now, and I was wondering how sharp I should expect the blade to be. Will it compare to my cold steel recon tanto, which can easily shave hair? I hope so with all the positive news I have heard.
anyway, just wondering
