Mr. Schempp's best design, IMO, was the Khukuri -- very unique and never attempted by any other reputed knife brand.

Re: What's your trick to remove a wire edge?
I rarely use ultra-fine, its typically medium and fine for me that does the job. If you haven't, I would highly suggest watching the Sharpmaker video in its entirety: https://youtu.be/5LBDnJv5B58

Re: Thoughts on the PPT sprint
The PPT is the most comfortable Spydie I have used, it just fits live a glove. The locking is crisp, the blade grind makes it a very good slicer, and the tip is reasonably strong. The only down side is the heft and weight. Though I am not a fan of black blades, I'm totally in for this sprint. I enjo...

Thanks for appreciating the photos, I've got clicking after a period of slumber. One note - the thumb hole on the domino is actually useful just like any other spyderco, so it's not an afterthought. The flipper is incredibly nice as well. The fit and finish is impeccable, the handle size is more nat...

Domino flipper
So I received my Domino today, and the first word I uttered on seeing was "gorgeous". Yeah, that's how those scales and the titanium side finish looks. The flipper action is a bit "gritty", but I guess it will smooth out as I flip it more. Some pics for your to enjoy (and a few c...

Hmmm... I can understand the frustration especially since about 15 mins into the sale, the site started acting funny. However, it does not justify anger at the SFO crew. My order did not go through until about 45 mins into the sale window and I had decided to give up, but magic happened and I could ...

If that is the case I would say it's a design flaw in the Sypderco website. You can't blame Google Maps API, it wasn't designed as a shopping cart system, it was designed for maps. For high volume shopping carts there are other more appropriate zip code services out there. Some *design flaws* becom...

Missing screw on the smallfly?
I purchased a NIB Smallfly from the marketplace, and it seems to have a screw missing. The seller indicated it was this way. Some photos also indicate a missing screw (empty hole), so I think this is the way it is. Can someone confirm? In the photo below, of the two side-by-side holes, only one has ...

Techno, and Ladybug Salt
The Techno in my pocket, and Ladybug Salt in backpack. I actually find the Techno to have substantial value as compared to its cost - the fit and finish, the steel, the grip, everything is excellent on this LBK. http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-KoQ7v2de4H4/ULPLOAhys5I/AAAAAAAAAw4/bE7uipfqQKg/s576/t...
