Re: Latest on the Joule?

Hi AUXCOM, Glad to have you back. Thank you very much for your interest in the Joule. The Joule was my first folding knife design, created about eight years ago. To answer your question, I believe the Joule has already found another collaborative home with another knife company. I can’t reveal too m...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Your collection is stunning! I don't hunt down knives that I missed very often, but I would absolutely make an exception for the imperial green Lum Chinese. Such a beautiful knife! Thank you, Julia! This is a favorite of mine too. I came *very* close to also buying the green jade model when they we...

That is a pretty sweet setup. I like the clip. Would this fit as equally well on a Manbug?

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Nice! :) The very first (ss / craton handle) Stretch, right? Around 15 years old? Thank you, sir. This is an old Pro-Grip (C13PS), which was based off of the Hunter (C03) model. But I believe you’re on the right path: If I remember correctly, the Stretch does have some Hunter in its heritage. Here’...

Re: What brings you more joy?

Lol, I’m one of those “weirdos“ who enjoys collecting vs. using their knives. :p I do have a few dedicated users, but my true joy and satisfaction comes from looking at and feeling a design.

Re: Maybe small knives are not TOTALLY awful

I’ve had a penchant for smaller knives (blades at 2.5” or less) for as long as I can remember. Spyderco whetted my appetite for smaller knives when I discovered their “Little-Big-Knife” concept. I like larger knives too, but there are times when a smaller knife is easier and less cumbersome to carry...

Re: Damascus UK Penknife UKPK

Something akin to this would be my preference still, in contoured CF (the SS bolsters while lovely could probably be ditched for a UKPK version). I would be game for it to be a forum knife here or with one of our friends overseas (just as long as we can get some!). :) Also, polished G10 does NOT ta...
