Re: Straight Razor from Spyderco

I always enjoy seeing new designs, so count me in. On a slightly different note, I think it would be cool to see a Spyderco straight razor design that was actually built for EDC vs. shaving. Keep the profile nearly the same, but add a lock, Round Hole, and a thicker grind. It would be unique because...

Funny, the knife I thought it would really go along nicely with is your Rhino Michael ;) :D
Hey thanks, man! You might just be right. :D :)

Watu and Bombshell caught my eye, but that Lil’ Native Sprint is right up my alley too. That Nightstick is pretty wicked too.

To each their own, I reckon. :)

I just don’t see the value in slamming tangs against stop pins, which in turn slams the pivot.
Agreed. It always makes me cringe a bit when I hear a knife opened hard.

I am really looking forward to getting one of these too. I prefer full-zip over pullover, so this should work nicely.

Re: H-1 Blade Scratches

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you could try some 600 or 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper or even a Scotchbrite pad. Start with very light pressure and increase pressure as needed. Be careful as this will likely remove the logo, etc., from the blade.

Re: The Unofficial Spyderco MERRY CHRISTMAS Thread

On Christmas Eve, my wife and I celebrated Christmas with her parents. It’s a family tradition for us to go to church in the evening and then go out to eat afterwards at our favorite restaurant. We then went back to my mother- and father-in-law’s house to exchange gifts, eat Christmas cookies, and p...
