I’d like to see this happen for sure. My brother has the original version (in PE, I believe) and I’ve always kicked myself for not getting one when they were still readily available. I’d be all over an SE version too. I’m not too picky on handle or blade materials, but I’d probably lean more toward...
Hi Michael, Ive read you are the man responsible for these Rhino, ive come to give my thanks and appreciation brother. Im relatively new to spydercos, my brother got me into Spyderco last year and ive fallen down the hole. Previous to buying the Rhino ive bought 6 golden models, this is my first no...
Two things...seeing this thread makes me feel a bit sad about MichaelScott's recent passing, and feel for his friends and family during what is already a tough holiday season...and the other is, that photo above with the 3 models with the different clips...why on god's green earth would ANYBODY put...
Sorry to hear about the outcome with your bow, Pancake. That's no fun at all. But on the bright side, it sounds like you are in the market for a new bow. :) I was very impressed with Hoyt. In fact, it was nearly a dead tie between the Hoyt Axius Ultra and the Mathews ZXR. Darby, 305 fps is nuts! I'v...
Honestly, I'd be happy with either one of them choosing. They both (obviously) have a keen eye for design, so I'm sure I'd be pleased with whatever model they selected.
I agree that both Leatherman and Victorinox make excellent multi-tools. I have several Leathermans that I use on a near-daily basis, as well as my trusty Gerber Multi-Plier. The only problem is that they don't say "Spyderco" on the handles. All kidding aside, I would gladly pay a premium for a new G...
I believe Blerv is alive and well, based on some brief conversations I had with him on Instagram recently. Roman (BH49) sent me a note a year or so ago to thank me for our friendship and to let me know he was leaving the forum. I sure do miss that guy. IIRC, Marcus also announced his decision to lea...
https://i.imgur.com/GilExrM.jpg My wife surprised me with a McBee this past Christmas and it quickly became a favorite. It is a very functional design, despite its size. I have big hands (size XL+ in gloves), but I don’t have any issues opening/closing it one-handed. It fits perfectly in the coin p...
Very cool reveal! Almost every page had me saying, “I need one of those.” I mean, a re-birth of the Small-Fly?! A Tenacious in S35VN?! A Sage in Maxamet?! And that awesome Colorado-themed PM2?! Oh, and let’s not forget those sweet looking Salts on page one! Well, I can easily see this is going to be...
Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Really do appreciate that very much. Had a great time taking a nature hike on a new trail in NW Ohio with my wife. The weather was perfect. We then came home for some Italian take-out and some of my wife’s delicious cinnamon coffee cake.
In agreement with the others, I would encourage you to reconsider canceling your account. There are several alternative options mentioned above that would likely help. If nothing else, maybe take some time to think about it before pulling the trigger? I’m sure you already have, but sometimes a week ...
I haven’t ordered from them, but they certainly have a healthy supply of older, hard-to-find Spydie models. Tempted on a few. They have the orange Dodo Sprint for like $450.
A lot of good suggestions here. The cool thing is, one really doesn't need much to get started in knife designing or even knifemaking. CAD is a wonderful tool, but it isn't necessary. I still prefer to draw designs by hand using paper and pencil, but that's just a personal preference. Purchase a dec...
Agree with the others, I wouldn't submerge an OTF in water for the reasons mentioned. Microtech also uses proprietary fasteners on a number of their autos to help discourage ELUs from taking them apart.

This image is 400yds behind my house. He was taunting me on my way to work. Swe...
