Re: Why did you join?

My father was an avid hunter and fisherman. Growing up in the 70's my parents had cabin in Northern Michigan on a trout stream. We hunted Whitetail Deer, Ruffed Grouse, Woodcock, and Ring Neck Pheasants at down-state fields. We fished like fools. Pops bought full-tang blades from a catalog and built...

Dont use the lock. Autonomy 2 has never come unlocked in my pocket and it fires hard with one hand when i need to deploy it.

I would want a scout carry leather belt sheath and a wooden charger to cut my meat on as not to dull my knife on a china plate.
Solid

Do you happen to know both the hardness and abrasive specs on china and porcelain respectively? Assuming standard industry standards (of course)?

Custom Kydex for a steak knife

I'm dreaming of the day when this **** is over and I get to go to a good steak house. For the past year I have kept my eye out for a hard container that can slip into my front pocket and house a Z-Cut or Paring Knife. I can't find anything. Toothbrush holders are too narrow, eyeglass cases are too s...

Hey Warnstein,

Just hypothetically, you are being assailed, the conversational aspects or your relationship with assailant have ended, what's your plan? Just curious because "what if" questions intrigue me, mostly as being obliverant.

Re: The ARK is probably the most high performance SE knife ever made

I like this knife so much I actually ordered a second one since the SE is discontinued. I've had it on me pretty much all day everyday since getting it, and I'm really surprised how handy a neck knife is especially when sitting down/in a car. I really hate that I'm a Johnny-come-lately with this, I...

Re: Yojumbo

The Yojumbo I received directly from Golden has the most secure detente of any compression lock Spydie I've handled (over 50 for sure). Knife is big when open but really not very large in pocket. G10 is super grippy! Given your likes Vivi, I think you would appreciate it for EDC use. Agree 100% I h...

Re: A Tale of Two SD Knives

As VooDooChild said, the Chinook comes from the Bowie school of knife combatives. Keating is longtime proponent of Bowie fighting skills. He and Bagwell are big on the back cut which is really only doable with a Bowie. This just from my reading over the years as I am in no way a fighter. On the bro...

Being a avid fisherman and catching big fish where I live I have nothing but PE Pacific salts for filleting on the boat nowadays as Barramundi are filleted scales on and fillet knives are too thin. https://files.catbox.moe/edaew4.jpeg https://files.catbox.moe/dqv6ul.jpeg But the catcherman got me i...

Re: YOJUMBO has been released!

I'm curious to find out if it will clip into the watch pocket in my slacks and khakis or if it's too big. I may have to go back to the DeSantis Nemesis single mag pouch for front pocket carry with dress cloths.

Plain edge Ocelot is very cool. There seem to have been a lot more combo edges made.

I have one plain edge.
