Re: New Graham Knives is closing!
I grabbed the (last?) Dragonfly 2 PD1. Good deal. The search function doesn't work well so finding items is like a treasure hunt. I used to buy from them regularly many years ago. Excellent customer service.

I'm also wondering if these have any QC issues like the tip being exposed. I'm tempted.

Re: 4V DLC Dodo comes out in a week
I tried one when BHQ had an exclusive in jade. I have medium hands and I remember my pinky landing directly on top of the handle ridge.

Re: Gayle Bradley 1 - Spirit/Exclusive
I think there's a chance BHQ would do an exclusive of the GB1. I'd love to see different scales and a DLC blade.

Re: Cutlery Shop Military 2 Exclusive
I've seen reports of lock stick on mili 2s. Is this a widespread issue? Late lockup?
I only have the Mili 2 in 15V, (until the CS exclusive I just bought gets here) but I can report that I don't have any issue with lock stick or late lockup.
Thanks! Do you have other comp locks to compare ...

I had an original balance. I think it had the same clip. Not comfortable.

Is the blade on this slipit Chap a bit pointier? Looks that way.

I don't mind flat scales but the Bodacious scales look like they could use more chamfering.

Re: Chaparral slipjoint!
I’ve resisted the OG Birdseye Maple Chap because it struck me as too old-timey for the high-tech Chap. But marrying a manufactured “Birdseye Maple” to a slipit Chap seems a perfect and doubly-ironic match. I’m there for it.
Oh, man. Mine arrived from River Edge Cutlery today (ordered two days ...

Re: Cruwear Lightweight Temperence
Just got the PE for nostalgia mainly, as I owned the original back in 2006 or thereabouts. These are well done. The fit in the sheath is snug with no rattle. Seems perfect. Someone else said the edge bevel is small which is true but that's because the angle is steep. I wouldn't call it thinly ground ...

Is this the new PM2? Seems like it could be popular with many sprints and exclusives to come.

Received the Lil Temp 3. Cool knife but mine had detent lash. Not a functional issue but should have been a factory second. I returned it. Had I paid as little as I saw later at SMKW maybe I would have kept it.

The 'work hardening' of H1/H2 has been debunked. You'll have to search to find more on that.

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2024 Report
I'm also skeptical of super thin bladestock. I do like my Z-Cut for trimming chicken fat. The blade flex helps with that. I don't like it for anything else. If you make a cut straight down the blade can flex suddenly upon hitting the cutting board because you needed some force and the blade didn't ...
