Two Enduras. :) One PE and one SE.

Of all my spydies I always end up reaching for the Endura the most. That knife takes a serious beating - I'm about to get my 3rd. (and 4th and possibly 5th when the FFG Enduras come out woo hoo!)

Something like the Tasman Salt in VG-10 or S30V?

Hi guys,

I just got another one - the Tasman Salt black FRN PE. I actually got it to keep in the shower... I know I know, I am a bit nutty. Anyway, when I got the knife I was so impressed with it that I started looking for something else like it without H1 steel. This is my first H1 blade so I'm ...

Karambits have a whole nother level of pain when they bite, trust me on that.
This is a story I gotta hear.

yeah... I still have a scar on the palm of my hand starting from the base of the thumb going almost 2/3 of the way across to remind me to not be such a moron.

Okay my story is probably going into the hall of stupidity but... about 4 years ago or so I was kind of playing with my Para in my pocket (BIG no no, I know - I wasn't really thinking about it). I didn't know that the blade was slightly open - enough to catch when I pushed the knife completely back ...

Yeah I'm definitely buying another Stretch in FRN. I just can't bring myself to EDC this one, however the form and function of this knife are outstanding. I can see an FRN Stretch becoming my primary EDC. This thing looks like it can take a Manix-level of beatings but it's not bulky like a Manix ...

Lockup feels decent on this one - just the teeny tiny bit of upward play that raises the lock like any other back lock I suppose. There is some side to side play though which I did not notice before checking for it. I don't usually perform tasks which involve side pressure so I'll have to ...

Very nice review. I too am intrigued by the cutout pattern for the lock - does anyone else know the who/what/when/why's of this?

Do you EDC your stretch every day? I'm wondering how long it took for that corrosion to form.

Review of the Stretch ZDP-189 with carbon fiber.

So I thought I'd write some reviews of my knives and what better way to start than to review my new Stretch ZDP in carbon fiber. I just got mine from a certain shoppe online, was very pleased with the service and my new baby came right away.

The Spyderco C90CFPE Stretch ZDP-189 Carbon Fiber Plain ...

The only thing that I'm worried about with the Caly ZDP is the staining. I am super obsessive about a clean blade and it might bug me. However, I could see doing the patina thing which is what I am going to try. I will post pics once I have it done. I'm ordering it on Monday and they usually come in ...

:) thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I need to get me one of those Spyderco hats - I'll check around and pick one up. This forum might be bad for my habit... I keep looking at what knives everyone else is buying and then I want them too. Payday is Monday and after that Caly3 ZDP thread I think I ...

Well, I'm a long time lurker first time poster and I thought I should get involved somehow and meet you guys. I've read this forum for about a year now on and off and you all seem like a great group of stand-up people.

My first spydie was a Delica FRN about 5 years ago - I remember not thinking ...
