Anyone else notified that it's ready?
I quit carrying my Tenacious a while back due to so many great Spydies in assorted colors. This may put the Tenacious back in pocket!!

I'd also love to know what hardness the Para 2 M390 is; seemed easier to remove metal than I expected.


My m390 Para came with a wire edge from the factory that stropped out very easily and left a wonderful edge. Much easier to remove than I thought it would be. Hardness would be very ...

Caly Super blue 3.5 had an outstanding edge. Second has to be my Chokwe

If you have any concern for legalities, the Military is 4" blade, where the other two are >4". I won't get into detail, however I can say from experience the Military makes for an outstanding sd knife.

Been carrying mine for almost a week now. Have to say, the F&F and smoothness of this Spydie is the best I've had in awhile. Seki city definitely took pride in this piece!!

Good stuff. The Military is my favorite Spyderco by far. Lite weight, compact, strength, outstanding design. Alot of people talk about a Military2. I say don't ruin a good thing.

Well, I had both, but only have the Sage now. It's smoother opening, better finish and excellent linerlock won the day for me. Call me crazy but I actually traded the Caly for a NIB PE Matriarch. :eek:

Mine is the same as yours(op). The original Para opened much easier but was tipdown only. I may be wrong in my assumption, but with tipup carry possible on the para2, maybe they designed a stronger detent for safety.

Love the Para2. Got one in my pocket and I still look at photos of it! Great pics by the way, enjoy it.

Yep, she's a beauty!! This Golden made knife has outstanding build quality. They are out there, you just gotta get on a in-stock notification list, so you can get one before they sell out(usually in a matter of minutes!)If you can get one, you'll be satisfied!

Hang in there guys! Got my Para2 in the mail today from GPKnives. The knife is PERFECT. Blade centering, detent, lockup, grind, everything is topnotch. I'll try to get pics up soon, but right now it's going in my pocket with me to dinner! The thing is, I thought the blade was supposed to be 3.5mm ...

For no other reason than a Tenacious is very likely to be one's first Spyderco purchase. It was for me and in the last year or so I have racked up another seven Spydies and have several sprints on order. The Chinese Spydies are a "gateway drug" if you will. :)
