If Santa is so great.. he can bring me a Spyderco-Lum colaboration Chinese Fighter...this should be simple enough since he can make it around the world in one night!
By the way, this would be an awsome future Fixed Blade to compliment the current Lum knives...*hint, hint*wink, wink*

Thanks for all your input.. The reason I was concidering these two knives was because I had a chance to handle a large Calypso at a gun show here a few months ago and fell in love. I was in the market for an EDC, one that i could snug away even at work (I work in a hospitol, so it would have to be c...

Thank you Mr Janich for your input. Interestingly enough, you book "Street Steel" was my first ever instructional item I ever purchased. I do still have the book, however I must admit its been several years (ok... several plus..) since its been re-read. I do recall some of your points now ...

I think you may have attached the wrong "clue" .. that thread is about the Perrin ... and unless your built like a grizzly (and dress like grizzly adams) a 5" bladed bowie is a tad excessive to be concidered "neck knife". I have a knife that was custom built and touted as a ...

One thing i have found useful in that sort of situation is the compressed air cans you buy for cleaning your computer... use the tiny straw provided, to blow out between the liners. Have some one shoot blasts of air while you work the blade.. that will get alot of the grime out if your blade was not...

Combining two threads..If i may

In a previous thread,I brought up the issue of possibly needing more blade as the winter season sets upon us. Likewise, Clay referred to some of your favorite carry options Sir.. I would now ask the members here some personal insight into blade carrying in the winter? Espically concidering that we a...
