I bought them both, FRN serrated and ZDP. Got the serrated today and I can say the Dragonfly has finally transformed into the knife I had always hoped for in a small knife. Love the wire clip design. Because they listen and you guys/gals and this forum- it all makes for a better experience. It's not just a knife, there is a story/post/passion etc. behind every purchase.

I been away from the knife news for a few months and what a nice surprise to see the Dragonfly with a couple of new models; ZDP and a FRN with the wire clip! I liked the G10 but it seemed a bit heavy for a small knife. So now just debating on which to get now or later, or both now etc etc. Feel comp...

Although I don't care for the boxes they are definitely important when selling. Although you may never plan on selling, you just never know what life has in store.

For me the CF ZDP Caly, hands down. I can't sharpen worth a crap so however it comes is as best as it gets. (Until I send it back to get sharpened)

I am debating on buying one. Or just put the money toward a more expensive model. I need another knife like I need another wife (1) or kid (5).

Probably been asked before so I apologize in advance but I am sure it's worth talking about again. Has anyone experimented with changing the blade finish on Spyderco's to something like stonewashed that Chris Reeve's knives have? Maybe use sand paper or something to get rid of that real shiny finish...

Lately when it's a Spyder, it's a Caly 3, either a CF or G10.

Since my first Spyder was a Dragonfly I would be interested. Preference would be normal back lock, no liners, and get the clip (paper clip style) to the end of the handle.
