Re: FOMO or No?

In the past I've had a *very* difficult time passing up new exciting models, but when I counted up how many Spyderco's I've bought (somewhere north of 400) and multiplied by average price (a few cheap models like bug or grasshopper, far more like Manix or Military) I realized just how much $$ I've s...

Re: CTS-204P Shaman

I didn't think it was supposed to ship until today, but mine just arrived. I haven't done any cutting with it yet, but I like the smooth comfort of the scales so far.

Re: Siren

I really like my Siren. It's probably the most grippy (sp?) of any knife I have, but that is what I like about it, along with it being rust-proof but holding an edge longer that H1.

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive SMOCK!

I too received mine a couple of days ago. While I think carbon fiber or perhaps fluted titanium is my favorite scale material, the polished G10 on this Smock is *very* nice. It reminds me of the scales on my Des Horn. And yes, mine came screaming sharp as well! I don't feel that the smooth G10 on thi...

Re: Mule Team Survey

I'm very happy to hear of the possible return of the Mule Teams. 1) Did you purchase a Mule Team knife in the past? Yes, at least one each starting with MT05 9Cr8Mo (4 each of that one) 2) Did you put a handle on it? Yes, made one, bought enough block material to make lots more that I haven't got ar...

Re: Spyderco "niche" and/or hardly known knives

I think the Introvert doesn't get much attention, but it is a really cool niche knife. back lock flipper with a finger hole for secure grip. The blade isn't real long, but definitely useful.

Re: About that Goldenstone 30 degree base

Glad to hear the base is still going to be made. And I do plan to buy a CBN duckfoot to go with my current one, just to compare. Though just like my knife affliction (I have somewhere around 400 Spyderco knives now) I am finding I also have an addiction to sharpening products. I haven't even got aro...

Re: Brown M390 Manix

I have not ordered from whitemountainknives.com before. I'm a little bothered that they didn't specifically say whether they were in stock or not, but I gave them a try. We'll see.

Re: St Nicks Knives Exclusive 4V Shaman - Available 9/19/19

I wish they would let me save a credit card number ahead of time. I messed up entering my card info, and by the time I re-entered it, they were sold out :( . Oh well, I guess there is still the cruwear shaman. Plus I already own about 350-400 Spyderco knives, I don't *really* need more!

Re: When will the SMOCK be available

I just got my Smock in the mail yesterday from cutleryshoppe. Now I am understanding what all of the hype was about, very nice, and different with the push-button release.

Re: A few words on the Introvert

Thanks for adding your impressions to this thread. I really like the Introvert. Really unique. It is a bit pocket-filling, but really a useful blade size. I love the way the flipper goes through the back lock.

Re: Tuff Love - Any Hope of a Sprint Run?

I'm very fond of mine, but I don't think its sales were enough to justify a sprint run, most likely. Mine is a very well-executed knife though.

Re: Spyderco Resilience!

I think the Resilience is a great knife, sort of like a poor man's Military (without the choil). I have 2 of them, one I bought and one I won in one of Spyderco's drawings. Good for kitchen duties when camping.

I wish the Walmarts in my area carried Spydercos.

I forgot I still had a $50 gift certificate to KC from points earned there. Decided this was a good time to make sure I don't miss out on the ATR!

An ATR2 and G10 Stretch on the way! I will get to see why the ATR is held in such high regard by so many people.

I'm having trouble locating this one from today's BHQ email :D Would be 31cents cheaper than the JCPenney deal!
I noticed that too. Wonder if they honor their ads? LOL
That was an obvious typo/mistake; they sent out a correction email.

My work blocks access to the site, so I had to use the cell phone browser with a poor network connection. Then it wouldn't accept my password; finally got that reset and logged back in. Glad to have a smart phone :). And glad to have a job again so I could buy the knife!

Re: New 20CV Para 2!!!

I was getting ready to buy, got called into a last-minute meeting at work that lasted several hours, they were all sold out by then. Oh well, I do already have over 300 Spydies, and I'm just happy to even have a job at this point, after being out of work for over a year. I'm sure Spyderco will make ...
