I got really lucky when I ordered mine about a year or so ago.

Paladin Press was selling out the rest of their stock for $10.

Well with shipping it was $20....but

Got my Vallotton today, and I must say its one amazing knife.Very beefy blade but with it hollow grind makes one heck of a slicer.Very comfortable in the hand. To have so many similar breaks so soon after the model was released does look like there are some problems, perhaps with assembly.
